Discovery Camp Reflection

The most fun was the petroglyphic making. One part was funny from the wasp that flew around. I will always remember Lily's funny hat. Christian
ReplyDeleteI think the most fun was gold panning because I found a lot of gold. When we were at the owl station any time I tried to take a photo it looked away and then it posed for a photo when I put my camera away.

My favorite of the Dons Discovery Camp was the hike. I also liked the rock art. At the hike I liked the cave. The part I did not like was we had to walk through the narrow path and jumping choias were sticking out. The gold panning was fun ,but I did not get a lot of gold. I would like to go back but do the hike for longer. ~ Courtney
ReplyDeleteThe most fun on the trip was learning how to rope stuff.Some thing funny was that the owls not look at me.I will remember the trip because of the drive there we sang a great song.f I could go back I would do some roping.SM
ReplyDeletethe most fun part of the trip was painting.Something funny is when i fell on rock and almost fell on a wolf berry.I will always remember Maylee and I playing the air guitar.If I could go back I'd do another painting.

My faverit thing was when we painted potery i thought it was neat how they bite the top of a weed and used it as a paitbrush. I also liked when we got to see the owl Ithought the biger one was a littel creepy the cute one was so cute. My least faverit part was when it got supper cold it was frezing. I really liked the bus ride and i fell asleep. the buss was really comfortable it even had coffe makers it was so cool. We got so meny artifacts and I got to take my pot home.

My favorite part at Discovery Camp was gold mining. I also like the face pictures where you can stick your head in and be funny. I liked the desert plants and learning about the Native Americans that lived there. I really enjoyed the artwork we did. Mercedez
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about Discovery camp was panning for gold. Panning for gold was my favorite because I found 1 real piece of real gold and all the others were pirate. Another thing I liked is when we learned all about the plants, animals and Indians that lived there. I liked painting the pottery because it was fun to learn about all the things and get to see them in person about the Indians. Another thing I liked was when they had the paintings of the old wild west people that you could put your faces through so it looked like your face was his body. This field trip was awesome I want to do this again.

My favorite part of Discovery Camp was the Ranching Station. We got to
ReplyDeletelasso the dummies professional style. Gold panning was fun too. I got two pieces of gold and others were fake. Painting the pot was hard because all we got was a flattened twig. Overall it was great.

The thing that was the most fun at Discovery Camp was gold panning. Since I found a lot of gold, the gold panning guy made a joke about me going to Alaska. I thought that was really funny! I will always remember the Liberty wildlife. I would like to go back to Discovery Camp to eat lunch on the stadium steps.

The guide said," Someone put a sticker on it." I will always remember how cold it was! I would like to go back to Discovery Camp so I could do rock art again! Emily
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of the trip to Dons Discovery camp was when I saw the owls. It was my favorite because I never saw a real owl. It was so cute. When Cyrus ate the nut he had a crazy face, it was a little funny. I will always remember Smoky the Bear that little cub lost everything even his mama. I would go back and try to hit the fake horse with the lariet. JACK
ReplyDeleteThe most fun I had at discovery camp was when we learned how to rope. The funniest thing was when Courtney and Emily started yelling, "Wait! wait! Don't leave us!" when they got separated on the hike. I will always remember when we learned how to rope. If I could go back I would want to go gold panning again so I can find more gold. KM

ReplyDeleteDiscovery Camp was so much fun! My favorite part was Rock Art. I will never forget how we sang songs on the bus. I would like to bring my Dad to Discovery Camp because he really likes to pan for gold. I hope I can visit it again!
Discovery Camp was awesome.If I could go back I would go back and see the animals the zoo brought.The most fun part was the hike.I will always remember the adoribal owl.
