Sports or Travel?

Would you rather have a family that goes to, and participates in a lot of sports OR have a family that travels a lot?

  1. I would rather have a family that goes to, and participates in a lot of sports because I believe it's more athletic and interesting. There are a lot of downsides about traveling a lot (because I do) because you can never really make best friends and have someone there for you all the time. Sometimes you keep in touch with your friends but it never really lasts. Plus, being a new kid isn't fun at all. It takes time for you to get used to your new surroundings and people. Sometimes you skip a subject that they learned the year before but you never did. Or they are teaching at a different pace and you learn what you already know. Being in sports would keep you healthier and happier. You may get injuries, but those are only temporary. Being in sports can also effect your future and your college experience. You could get a scholarship for sports that you have been practicing for a long time. Therefore, I believe being in a family about sports would be the time of my life! :)

  2. I would rather have a family that travels a lot.
I already travel a lot with my parents. I love traveling to a lot of places. My aunt, uncle, and cousin have been to Ireland and have also been to Mexico. I might be able to go to Ireland with them next year. I am also going to Italy this year. The reason I would rather have a family that travels because I love seeing places such as Rome. I like seeing natural wonders such as Chichen Itza too. I can not wait to go to Greece, Turkey, and Italy in July this summer. Those are all the reasons why I would rather have a family that travels a lot(which I already do).

  3. Well, that depends. would I get to travel with my family? I would hope so. If I could, that would be my first choice. it would be great to see new places all the time. There would be so many places to see and people to meet! It's mind boggling what we could do! Trips are cool!

  4. If I had the choice between a traveling family and a sports family, I would choose the traveling family. I chose the traveling family because we get to go everywhere and look and learn about the places we traveled to. I did not choose the sports family because our family would very competitive about sports. I also sort of don't like traveling because you have to wait on everyone for packing, checking if everyone's here, and it would cost a lot of money for traveling. Other than that I wold choose a traveling family over a sports family. The first place I would want us to go to is Hawii.

  5. If I had to choose between a sports family and a traveling family I would choose a traveling family. Mostly because I LOVE to travel. One of my dreams is to travel around the world. I also think it wold be a good way to bond with my family and having a sports family you always have to go to games and practices away from each other. I don't really like sports either so i don't think it would be a fun time for me. The only bad thing about being a traveling family is that you would always be moving around and not being with friends very much. Some of the places that I would LOVE to go to are Italy, Paris, and London. I have to add that you would have a lot of cool experiences. BYE BYE, NOW!

  6. If I had the choice between a sports family or a traveling family I would choose a traveling family. I would rather have a traveling family because I always travel! I would go to Colorado because I am going there this year. I also love the snow there! I love just seeing my family. I miss them and it's so hard not seeing them when I used to just be able to see them everyday. I also have fun there because we always have a good time drinking hot cocoa and just relaxing. I also like going there when it is almost Christmas time because it is snowing and it feels more like Christmas and home.

    I LOVE COLORADO!

  7. I would rather have a family that travels. I would want that, because I want to see the world. Having family that likes sports would be fun, but I would perfer a traveling family. If you travel you will get lots of exercise from site seiing and fun activities. If my family were to go to greece I would have an amazing time there, because that is a very intersesting subject for me. Lastly having a sport family would be lots of fun, but I would choose both if I could!

  8. This is hard but I would choose to travel. I would like to travel because then i can go to a lot more places. Sports you could be rich and famous but every where you go you would have to go to a game every time. For the time you go to a game you could be somewhere cool and fun. Then being all sweaty and gross. i think that it would be cool to go and play spots. But it would be better to travel. I WOULD LOVE TO GO TRAVELING.

  9. If I had to choose to have a family that does a lot of sports or travels a lot, I would say that I would rather have a sports family. I LOVE TRAVELING, don't get me wrong, but it does cost a lot of money travel, and I do not think that I could handle the meeting new people, then having to desert them forever. And if you are in a sports family, you will be in very good shape, and you will have lots of fun with the family playing sports!!! And just because you get to see the world and stuff when you are traveling I do not think it is worth moving so many times and saying goodbye to everyone you know. And even though so far me an Kara are the only ones that would want a sports family, I will not back down!!! And in a sports family, you will be all active and athletic. Which is a very good thing!!! And I think that being in a sports family would awesome!!!!!!!!!!

  10. Sports family or a travel family? I would choosse the sports family because it keeps you active and in good shape. Also I wouldn't have to keep changing schools. Along with changing schools I couldn't keep my friends! But sports you can keep going to the same school also you will be healthier becuse with sports you usally can't eat junk food. Another reason a family participated in sports is you have a family bond when you play the sports together. And you all have something in common! Though you can get a sports injuries but its better than dieing in a plane crash. A family in sports is a very good fmily, in my opinion. Travel can be fun but sometimes plane tickets cost allot aspecialy if you have an extreemly large family.

  11. For me this is a hard choice, since I would like both. I think some of my classmates are confusing travel with moving a lot. I would certainly not be happy if my family had to move a lot, but I do like to go on trips. It is fun to get away sometimes and see other places. It is also fun to visit family. It does not have to cost a lot of money to travel if you do it right. Being a sports family would be good too, since you would be in better shape and probably healthier. As I said, this is a hard choice. Since I do not have any brothers or sisters, I am going to choose a travel family. Plus I get to do trapeze when I travel to California and that is sports. Got to go, having a York attack.

  12. It would be really fun to have both. If you have a family that is in a lot of sports, you get to go to a lot of events and have a lot of celebratory dinners. But if you had a family that traveled a lot, you could to go exotic places all over America or the world and see so many cool things! But they both have little downsides. For the sporty family, everyone would be tired all the time and not want to do a lot. And then the traveling a lot, you might have to be left home. Both would be super fun. But I think having a sporty family is better. You can actually travel with a team so it´s a win-win.

  13. It would really fun to do both.I would really love to be a company dancer who does competitions and travels a lot to different states. You also get lots of fancy and fun costumes. But traveling would be fun.You can go to different sites in different states and countries.I have been to London,England and Mexico before with my family. In London everything was different and I got to see the play "The Lion King there which was really cool. Also I went to the queens three palaces and got to see her crown. But overall I think sports.

  14. I would rather have a family that participates in sports.I would rather have a family that participates in sports because we could make money off of sports if were good.I would like to travel to but it costs lost of money.I have been to lots of places. It was really boring on the plane. But when I stepped of the plane I felt unclasterphobic.I would go to the U.K. again though.

  15. Traveling or sports family I would choose sports. I would like a sports family because you know me the sports fan. Also, people who are sports fans love to go see games alot. People like to go see games because if they were real fans of their team, they would go everwere.Plus, Going to see games means you have to travel sometimes. But, you can get season tickets. Who hates when there team loses? So Sports is more better than traveling. Griffin

  16. I would rather have a family that is into a lot of sports. I would rather have a family that is into sports because if you are good you can get into professional sports and then you could make a lot of money. You could also be strong and fit. If you traveled you would be lazy and fat if you didn't get any exercise and you just walked around and did nothing. Besides of you flew in a plane a lot you would always be tired and you would have jet lag. That would be annoying. I would also want to be a famous sports player. That is why I would choose a sports family over a traveling family.

  17. If I had to choose between a family that played sports all of the time and a family that traveled all the time I would choose a family that travels all of the time. I would love to travel to places around the world and see all that there is to see. I would love to visit Egypt because it seems so much more interesting to me than any other place ( in history). I would also love to go to parts of Asia, Europe, South America, and Central America. I love sightseeing and learning about different cultures and places. I think that I would not always want to be out of the house. I would go over summer break. I would love to travel! Jessica

  18. I would rather have a family that travels a lot than a family that plays a lot of sports. I like going on vacation. I also like sightseeing. If you travel a lot you need to like sightseeing and vacation. I love all of the different cultures of places and would want to visit them. Learning about places around the world makes me want to travel there more. The places I would want to visit are Italy, China, Indonesia, and Sydney, Australia. I would want to visit Italy because its very old fashioned and pretty. In China in would walk around (part, I couldn't walk the whole thing) of the Great Wall of China. Indonesia is where my brother is going on a mission so I want to go there. I want to go to Australia because I can get a bunch of stuff that says I love Sydney! I love traveling and would like it better if I traveled instead of doing lots of sports.

  19. I would choose to have a family that plays sports, because right now most of my family is in sports. Also, many of my friends play sports, and I would have a fun time with them as well. I would start to try new sports like hockey, lacrosse, and other fun sports. It would be more fun, because everyone in my family would be always doing something, and trying new things. I think that that would be very exciting to see what my family did that specific day. I think traveling is great, but I favor sports more than long trips. While doing sports, I would always look forwards to what I'm going to try new, like it it'd be bike riding, hiking, bmx, it all would be fun. There are also very interesting tourist spots along trails for either of these very fun activities. As you can see, I would always choose sports over travel.

  20. It's hard to decide between each. From experience, having a family that plays a lot of sports can be fun. You can always meet new people. The sport itself is fun also. If you had a family that travelled a lot it would be fun to go sightseeing. Everyone hates flying and going to the airport, but for some reason I enjoy it. Except of course for the long security line. So, I don't know which I would choose.

  21. That's a really hard one because I come from a family who is really athletic but also loves to travel. Even though I LOVE sports and want to be an athlete I think I would rather have a family that loves to that loves travel. Everywhere I travel I get a souvenir such as a T-shirt or a snow globe. I think it just makes it more fun. Plus I have seen and done a lot of sports but I haven't seen the world like I want to. There is a lot of things to explore and see and I really want to do that. My dream is to travel Europe and thankfully I can start that early because this summer I get to go to Paris and London. I think this is a good start for my dream of traveling the world. Even though I want to be an athlete I feel like there is plenty of time for that but traveling the world takes up a ton of time.

  23. I would rather have a family that travels a lot. I am like Miss Toenjes I love to travel to pretty much anywhere. I always like to see new places and landmarks. One thing I would really like to do is travel the world and stay at each place I visit for a month or so. The place I want to go to the most is Germany. I want to visit Germany because I am half german. Another thing I like to do when I travel is to just get to experiance the different cultures.

  24. That's kind of a hard one but I would rather have a sports loving and sports interactive family because lots of excrsise is good for you. Also a family who plays more and does more outside activities if you know what I mean, laugh a lot more and I love laughs. You still could have a family that goes on vacation a lot but that doesn't mean they do anything. Plus I like staying home a lot, relaxing but also having a fun time with my family. Also if some of you haven't already noticed, a game is more fun when everybody plays it. If the whole family is playing basketball in the pool it's a lot more fun. If the whole family is playing Frisbee it's more fun. Also a family that's more interavtive could also help you with your sports when and if you join one.

  25. If I had to choose I would rather have a family that plays sports. I love to play sports and even more when my family is with me or my friends. I do travel a lot too and it's exciting but I'm not much of a site seeing person so sometimes I get bored. I don't really like to see like ancient memorials and all that stuff when it comes to that I don't really care that much. But I do love to play football, basketball, soccer, and tennis with my family. My sister and my mom aren't really good at sports so it makes it easy for me and my dad to win and sometimes we need more of a challenge. I have already lived in Germany and on vacation went to Germany, London, Ireland, Seattle, California, Florida, and Arizona.

  26. I would rather have a family that participates in activites and in sports because I would not want to be living somewhere and all the sudden I will make friends but just move again. I would like them to participate in my sports like come horseback riding with me or come to my gymnastics. Also I could teach them how to groom, saddel, and ride a horse because it is not that hard. But I would like to travel when I grow up. But if we would keep moving that would not work with my secudale. Pluse I already have somany friends and family here in my homestate Arizona.

  27. If I had to choose to have a family that does a lot of sports or travels a lot, I would say that I would want a family that travels a lot. I would want a family that travels because you can learn all about other cultures and you can see whats all over the world. Sports are awesome and they are very fun but they end very quickly and they can get boring to me. I could NEVER see my family into sports. But when I say family I mean my sister. My sister would never do anything sport related besides maybe play volleyball. My parents do enjoy watching sports a lot but a family that would travel would just be soooooooo cool. I would love to travel the world and I really hope that when I am older that I can have the chance to do so and that I can see a lot of places. I really hope that my family does travel in the future .
