I think that this is such a powerful quote because if everyone just tried a little harder to be kind, imagine what a safe, wonderful and kind world it would be.

The quote, "Old friends pass away, new friends appear. It is just like the days. An old day passes, a new day arrives. The important thing is to make it meaningful: a meaningful friend - or a meaningful day," is meaningful to me because it discusses the way of life. For example, the statement, "Old friends pass away, new friends appear," shares that, in my opinion, friends will come and go but the best thing to do is make it worth the while. You would want to have a fantastic relationship no matter what stands in the way. This poem means to me that no one will break apart your relationship with someone until the time is right. I would have to say that this poem reminds me of my friend, Madi, in Colorado. She was one of the smartest kids in the grade and always wrote meaningful speeches, phrases, quotes, etc. This poem makes me smile and feel happy that I have friends that care and will help me through life. I have another quote that I will share with you, too. One of my favorite quotes is, "Friends come and go, but family is forever!"

I think a great quote would be, "With Great Power, Comes Great Responsibility."- Uncle Ben, Spider-Man. I feel this way because it teaches us that we shouldn't abuse our power, no matter how much we have. I feel that it also tells us that we should also be careful with our power, because you or someone other than you can have too much, and go completely insane. Another quote I like is, "Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions." Dalai Lama. I think that one tells us that what we think and do can make us happy. I just really love that quote. Quotes are great!

I think a Perfect quote is "If someone gets you down it just means your above them". This means to me is if they get you to be down don't let it get you down. I used to get down a lot.I love this saying because it means they are just rude and mean and not worth trying for.It also means to me is that your the leader and no one can change that.This means so much it makes me smile every time I hear it and if they get me down it means just to move on>

Now most people don't know this, but I actually love quotes. I have numerous quotes that I think are perfect. Quotes like:

"The past can hurt, but you could either run from it, or learn from it."-Raphigi. And last but not least.

I like each of these quotes because they wither have a nice message, or one time or another. These quotes made me smile. It may have been 5 years ago or 5 seconds ago, but I am pretty sure that I laughed at these quotes at one time or another. These quotes are perfect to me because these quotes are things that make me smile. And things that make me smile, are perfect in my own way. I mean, who doesn't like a good Harry Potter or Lion King quote. Now you might go for the sappy love quotes or the drop dead hilarious quotes, but I will always go for the quotes that are perfect in MY own way. Got to go, I have a book to read.

We all received a letter today from Mrs. Toenjes and Miss Preston requesting Junior Mints or York Peppermint Patties for the AIMS testing week. The letter says peppermint soothes the stomach when we become tense and the chocolate helps stimulate our brains. York's are the perfect food for any situation. If you are tense, have a York. If your hungry, have a York, If you need extra brain power, have a York. All this talk about York's are giving me a York attack. Got to go!

I think a great quote is " An investment in knowledge pays the best interest"- Ben Franklin. It means that if you make the right choices you become a better person. If you don't waste time playing too many video games and study hard you will succeed in life. It also says that if you save money for college you could attend a good college. Also if you know more about civilizations, it will be more interesting when you travel. The quote means a lot to me because education is extremely important to me. I want to be a theoretical physicist which takes a ton of education. I also love to travel to places such as Italy and I want to learn about the history and culture of a lot of places. That quote is really meaningful to me.

The first quote is "The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.” I think it means that mistakes are human and you can learn from them. A mistake where you learn nothing is a real mistake. My other favorite quote is “Whether you think you can, or you think you can't--you're right.” I think it means if you believe you can do it. If you don't believe you wont succeed.

I love quotes sooooo much and many people don't know that about me i have a ton of quotes I would love to share but this is my favorite by far. "Life is to short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So, love the people who treat you right, forgive the ones who don't and believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said it'd be easy they they just promised IT WOULD BE WORTH IT." This quote is very meaningful to me because it reminds me that life is life and nobody can change it. Also this quote makes me feel like I can do anything I want when I'm older it might change my life it might not be easy but hey I know it is going to be worth it. It's also meaningful because it's right life is to short and enjoy every second you can make out of it. Everyday i try to read quotes that inspire me or motivate me to do great things. Reading inspirational quotes like this one help me to live, love, and laugh more everyday. In this it says that everything happens for a reason even if there not good reasons I always tell myself "something good is going to come out of it". It helps me all the time. This quote really reminds me of my dad I might not get to see him everyday but I always know he his in my heart where ever I am he always tells me to push harder everyday take challenges and most importantly live my life because after all I only have one and I plan to do great things with it.

We all have favorite quotes but my favorite one of all is "Dream a bigger Dream". I love that one. The reason why is because one of your dreams can be just a dream but you can make it bigger. Making a dream bigger is a good thing because you know when you are little all you think of is doing a lot of things like "Nails, Hair, A Football player, A teacher". But why just have just one little small dream? You can make it better by making it better then ever. MAKE IT COUNT. Have a BIGGER dream. We all have dreams make them BIGGER.

My favorite quotes are from fictional characters. Like Brick Tamberlain, "I LOVE LAMP! I love lamp." Or maybe Dwight Schrute's, "Before I do anything I ask myself 'Would an idiot do that?' If the answer is yes, I don't do that thing." Quotes from some people are really just meaningless. I do like Albert Einstein's "Everybody's a genius. But if you judge a fish on its ability to climb a tree it will live it's whole life thinking that it is stupid." Those are some funny and meaningful quotes.

I think that if you are mean people will only want to be your friend to protect themselves from you. If you are kind people will always want to be with you to have fun and they will be nice to you. The quote i chose was... "Don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes". I chose this quote, because it said that the being who said it was wise to save the colonist amunision in the battle. The quote was also wise on a way of knowing the weapons details, and the range. Another fact is if he didn't say that quote that day the collonist wouldv'e lost the battle of bunker hill alot faster than before. In addition the man who said the quote must of been very smart with the battle tactic, and other ways of war to of known that the colonist army was going to hit their target in accuracy if they waited to "see the whites of their eyes".

A great mans quote, though his name who escapes me at the moment, is saying that you should always or most of the time be near the people you love and is closest to. I like this quote because it reminds me of my grandfather who passed away last December in Japan. My grandfather adored me because he always wanted a grandson and he did he always took care of me and spoiled me when I was with him. I feel so devastated inside I wish he was still here. I will try to remember the man that made this quote.

I LOVE quotes so much! I even have a thing of notes on my iPod FULL of quotes. I can't even choose one. The first one is "Everyday might not be good, but there is good in every day" (I don't know who said it...). I love this quote because it means you should least try to focus on the good parts of the day and not the bad. Another one I actually have up in my room and it is"Everything has beauty but not everyone sees it"~Confucius. It basically means that nothing is ugly or bad, even the worst people. People may not see it but there is beauty and good in everyone and everything.

There are a ton of quotes I love. I am only going to say a few thoug because I could go on. The first one is "If someone is strong enough to bring you down, show them you're strong enough to get back up." I don't know who wrote it but I like it because it's saying that you shouldn't let things people change who you are. Another one is "When one door is closed, many more is open" said by Bob Marley. It means that if one thing doesn't turn out right, there is another way or some variation of that. My all time favorite is "If your afrais to try something new..... just remember professionals cuilt the Titianic and ametures built the ark." Said by Drake. That's my favorite because it means that if you're not good at something, you can become great at it and professionals can be good at one thing and terrible at others.

One of my favorite quotes is ''If you don't shoot you are going to miss''. This quote has many meanings like for basketball, football, and even baseball! What it means is that if you don't take the chance you may not get it again. Everyone has probaly had this happen in their life and if not it will surely come. This quote is meaningful to me because it helps me to not be fearful. When I am afraid it reminds me I'm not alone God is with me. God will give me strength and help me. This quote means do not be afraid because God is with you and He will help you. I think this is a wonderful verse because it shows how God hold us in his hands. My favorite quote, is, "Be the change you wish to be in the world." -Ghandi. I think that this is very powerful, because many people always ask for help, and rely on others to get work done, or for a change. I wan't people to think that they can achieve anything that they set their minds to. If i want someone to pick something up, off the ground around my house, or anywhere, i'll take matters into my own hands and pick it up. This quote is special to me, because I see kids that are younger than me, with ipads, and other devices. And some of these kids are snotty, and make their parents, or nanny do work for them, instead of being aware of the situation. People don't realize that if something that appears to be difficult, you should always try. As you can see, I think that the very special quote is very powerful.

I have many quotes that I like very much but there are a few that really stand out. One of the quotes that I love is " Be who you are say what you feel, because those that mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind. - Dr. Seuss. I really like that quote because it is saying that you have the right to feel and believe what you want.That people and friends should except you for you and like what you like and if they can't except that then they aren't true friends. Also it is saying that you deserve to have youre own opinions. I like a lot of Dr.Seuss quotes but I really like that one. I really enjoy Walt Disney quotes too he has good one but that one stood out and I always think of it.

My favorite quote is a quote that a famous basketball player Larry Bird had once said. He was asked what would you do if you missed 50 shots in a row. He replied by "I would shoot fifty more because I'm a fifty percent shooter." What the quote means a lot to me and not just in basket it means that if you don't do something the first time you keep on trying. If you keep practicing you will eventually get it right. I also apply that to school if you can't figure out a math problem for example you should try it again until you get it right. People will sometimes give up and they don't get what they wanted but if you follow this quote then you will be able to achieve anything you believe.

ReplyDeleteThis quote is meaningful to me because it makes me want to take chances. When I have a hard choice to make it makes me want to go on with it. It helps me want to take risks in life. So that when I am faced with a difficult choice that I take the risk that goes with it. Teaches me to take the chances in life. So that when I have to choose something I make the right choose. That is why I choose this quote.

I really like this quote because it is saying that if you want to see a change in the world, then why not try to change it yourself if no one else can. It is inspiring people that they can change anything, if the are up to it and if they want to see it. And it is really meaningful to me because when I grow up, I want to be an author, and the books I like to read are fun adventure mystery books, like the Candymakers, and because I love these books and don't get to read them very often, I want to write them. I want to be the change I want to see in the world. I think that this quote could inspire other people to change good things in the world. That is why I like it so much. This quote i meaningful to me because it helps me remember to be nice to my friends. I will always remind myself when I am alone that i can always call my friend.
