Diving!

Would you rather learn to scuba dive or learn to sky dive?  Why?

  1. I would rather scuba dive because sky diving can result in serious injuries or even death. Yes, scuba diving has its flaws but it's a rare chance to be killed or attacked. I would love to scuba dive and see all the tropical coral, coral, fish, and more. I would love to see all the exotic creatures and their vivacious colors. I would love to sky dive, too, but I don't want to take the risk. I try and try to hold my breath longer when I swim but it has been a challenge. Being able to breath while underwater has always been a dream of mine, and scuba diving is one step closer! :)

  2. That is really hard but i would have to say i would rather sky dive. I pick this becaese you will have a thrill and your heart will be raceing. That is on my buct list. It would be dangerous. You could get hurt and you can mabe die. I would really like to go SKY DIVING.

  3. I would rather go scuba diving than sky diving. I would rather because I went snuba diving and it was awesome. I also would want to see sharks, coral reefs, and tropical fish. I also would want to go scuba diving in places such as, The Blue Hole, and The Great Barrier Reef. There is risk to scuba diving. Your rope that you have when going deep to find your way to get back could get snapped and you could be stuck there and you would run out of air. I can't wait to get to go scuba diving when I can.

  4. Scuba diving is really sight seeing in very unpleasant conditions. It is wet, it can be very cold, the oxygen tank can run out and sharks can attack! And who needs to go scuba diving anyway? The motion pictures of underwater sea life have all been taken and they are easy to look up! I would rather learn to sky dive. It may be more risky than scuba diving, but the thrill of flying at high speeds and long distances through the air, way above the earth would be so much fun! Got to go, I'm having a York attack!

  5. I would rather be able to learn to skydive than scuba dive. This is because I've always wanted to skydive. Plus, scuba diving requires you to concentrate on watching your air gauge. But skydiving only requires that you release your parachute. But, no doubt, scuba is cool. But I just always loved skydiving. WILL

  6. Sorry, I forgot my concluding sentance. My concluding sentance is: I really think skydiving is awesome!

  7. Out of both of those I would definitely choose scuba diving because I am deathly afraid of heights. Plus When you go scuba diving there is a to of beautiful things you can se and look at. When you are sky diving you are going so fast it's almost like a blur. M cousin went sky diving and he said it was pretty fun but it only lasted for a few minutes and there wasn't much you could look at because you start so high. But when you are scuba diving you can just take your time and look at the beautiful nature and animals. Except when you run out of oxygen but all you have to do is go up and get more. Another thing is I have heard that sky diving can be really dangerous because one of my cousins friends went sky diving and she sadly died because her parachute wouldn't open. But anyway scuba diving doesn't seem so dangerous but i imagine that you should stay pretty safe.

  8. Would I rather learn to scuba dive or sky dive? Oh, thats a tuffy, scuba diving is facinating with amazing the sea life and all but skydiving is well, AWESOME! I would choose sky diving because it's like flying. Sure your parashute clould break or not open at all but at least if you don't die you can say when everyone when there waching some one do that and there like, whoa sky diving seam so fun! You can say yea been there done that, sky diving I've already done. Also scuba diving something could go wronge or something! I would strongly dislike dieing by drowning. Besides sky diving is so fasinating, falling from the sky how many time can you do that! Now I really want to go sky diving. Sky diving is one of the funnest activities you can do. It gets your heart beating and the wind going in your face.
Well, thats my choice sky diving. :) :D

  9. I would rather do scuba diving than sky diving, because sky diving is too scary. Scuba diving is cool because you can go underwater and see the ocean life.

  10. If I could choose to scuba diving or sky diving I would choose scuba diving. Scuba diving is much more fun. Scuba diving is longer. Sky diving is only 45 seconds. In scuba diving you see alot of pretty fish and coral. Sky divings view is great but it doesn't stay long. Its also kind of scary. The only thing I wouldn't like scuba diving is the big huge pack of air. So thats why I would pick scuba diving.

  11. If I could choose to scuba dive or sky dive I would choose scuba dive. I would like to scuba dive because you could see place under water that you never seen before while ypu can look up in the sky and see clouds. Also, you could see something amazing. Something you can see are YELLOW TUDE SPONGE, seastars, sea urchins. Also you can't see stuff in the sky but 3 thing birds, planes, and clouds. Plus you can always FREE FALLING. Well, here are my reasons. Griffin

  12. My choice would to learn to sky dive, because it is a thrilling dive down to earth. I would choose this, because I have reletives that have done this, and said that was their time of their lives. It seems to me that you can go scuba diving any time (except storms, of course) and you wouldn't have an much adrinalin as sky diving. Just think, being way high in the sky, about to jump out of a moving plane. Insane right? Thats my style. I love a great rush, and this is the perfect thing.

  13. I would want to learn to scuba dive rather than sky dive. I would rather scuba dive because I am a little bit afraid of heights. I would want to see the depths of the ocean if I could scuba dive. I would go to the coral reefs and see t hings that I have never seen before. I would probably live underwater if I had the choice. I would want to see everything that I could possibly could underwater. I would really want to see not only different plants and such, but I would want to see different fish too. Plus I read an amazing book that was about scuba diving. I got to go read a book.

  14. I would want to learn to scuba dive then sky dive. One sky diving is very dangerous especilly if your parashoot fails. Scuba diving is also dangerous, but less of a chance of getting injured in the process. I also would like to scuba dive, because it has many more animals, and plants. Skydiving you do not have much to see, but where you are gona land. In Scuba you have to pass training 1st before diving. Sky diving you do not have much training, and you could mess up more. Finally Scuba diving will be more of an adventure, andwill last longer then you would sky diving.

  15. I would choose sky diving over scuba diving. The reason why I chose sky diving is because sky diving seems awesome. Also the chance of serious injury and/or death adds a little more thrill to all of it. Scuba diving is fun and all but the problem is what if you run out of oxygen, get attacked, or get serious air bubbles in your skin. Even though sky diving is extremely dangerous, I would still choose it. Can't wait 'till Catalina!

  16. If I had the choice bettween learning to scuba dive or to sky dive I would choose to learn to scuba dive. I don't want to sky dive because it is very dangerous and I'm afraid to. Of corse scuba diving can be dangerous too but, I love ocean life. I love seeing how beatyful and mysteriou the ocean is, full of life and many habitats for many creatures. I would love it if we could breathe in water along with being able to breathe above water. That way it wouldent be as dangerous to scuba dive. That is why I would choose scuba diving over sky diving. 17. I would much rather learn to sky dive because I think that it would be amazing to feel the sensetion of flight. I have only barly felt that sensation and iut was wonderful. I like going to the beach in all and I like the water but I can feel the water anytime I want. You can't feel the sensation of flight all the time. So if only we all could fly well, I wish I could. But trust me when I grow up one of the things I'm going to do is go skydiving....

and go bungie jumping again and again and again :D

  18. If I had a choice to go skydiving or scuba diving, I would definitely go scuba diving. The first reason I would choose this is because I am terrible afraid of heights! If I am up in a plane going sky diving, I would never ever jump. I wouldn't even look out of the plane when the door is open!!! It would be terrifying!!!!!! And I think that scuba diving would be really cool and fun. Those of you the know me really well, you know that I LOVE SUMMER! And the only reason I love summer is because you get to swim! AND I LOVE SWIMMING!!!! :) Also, I always thought that going scuba diving would be wonderful because are safe and have air and you can BREATHE UNDER WATER!!!! AWESOME!!! It would be amazing to go skydiving!!!! Think of everything you could do and see! How far you can go down into the ocean! How many creatures there are! It would be awesome and cool and unforgettable and beautiful and sensational and smiley and amazing! I do not know who would not want to go scuba diving and see a whole different world that is unknown to you and hidden. I mean, who wants to see the world we live in right now? We see it everyday! No need for more seeing! Why not see a world underwater? Where no human being can live! Where we have not seen ever before! It is truly a wonder. I wish that someday I will get to go scuba diving. It is definitely on my Bucket List!

  19. I would rather want to scuba diving.I am really afraid of hieghts. Also I hate it when your falling in mid air and theres nothing but sky fro problay 1,000 more feet.I think that scuba diving would be fun because I love to swim, every chance I get during the the summer I swim and do laps. Also I think that it would be really cool to go see different animals that you don't see everyday. But the thing is about scuba diving is when ever I see a shark or something I dont really know what it is I freak out.

  20. If I had to go scuba diving or skydiving, I'm not sure which one I would do. It would be fun to skydive because of the excitement. But, it wouldn't last as long. You could go scuba diving, because of the cool sea animals and plants. But, it doesn't really give you an adrenaline rush or anything. I think that they would both be extremely fun.

  21. If I were to choose between learning how to Skydive or Scuba Dive I would choose Skydiving. I would choose Skydiving because skydiving has suspence and exitment. Scuba Diving is looking at fish in a tight wet suit that you can't talk in. skydiving I have always wanted to do and I would do Scuba Diving but it dpends on were I am doing it at. When skydiving you get a cool view of a lot of stuff. That is why I would want to go Skydiving over Scuba Diving.

  22. If I had to choose I would choose skydiving. I would choose it because it has more of a thrill ride. Scubadiving is also slower when skydiving is really fast. The bad thing is it is usally really cold air on you. Scubadiving has a wetsuit which is very uncomfortable. That is why I would choose skydiving.

  23. I would rather learn to skydive. I would rather learn to skydive because I can not scuba dive because I have really sensitive ears. Also, I think it would be more fun. I have alwase wanted to skydive. I wonder if you have to go through training? Also, I wonder if you have to be licensed.

  26. If i had to choose i would choose skydiving. I would choose it because it would be really cool to see parts of the earth from high in the sky. It would be really fun to see what kind of tricks you could do in the sky. It would be so exciting. Then you could land on a target. I would like to go really high then skydive. That is why i would choose skydiving.

  27. If I had the choice to scuba dive or sky dive I would sky dive because scuba diving is more dangerious. I would have an amazing time. Also get one of thoses cameras and viedo me. It would be so awsome. With scuba diving you could run out of oxygen or get aten by a shark. But that would be cool too because you could see the coral reef and all the animals.

  30. I would rather scuba dive than sky dive. First of all I am very scared of heights. Also I think it would be really pretty and nice. I would really like to scuba dive in a coral reef. It would be so fun and pretty and I would not like to remember screaming while doing some thing fun. I would like to remember it as something pretty and nice. I think now I want to scuba dive a lot (BUCKET LIST!)

  32. I would rather chose to sky dive because the fact that you could get injured or even die makes it more exciting. It also makes a lot more frightening. You get to jump out of a plane that is flying. You don't jump off boat, you don't jump off a rainbow, you don't jump off Santa, you jump off a plane. Another reason I would rather want to sky dive is because you would be able to see a many places from a higher point of view. If you want to scuba dive there is a special place for that. That place is called an aquarium. Sky diving would be amazing.

  33. I would rather learn to skydive because then I would get to feel more of a thrill than scuba diving gives you. You would also get to have a long time to be in the air. You would also get to have bragging rights saying that you went skydiving and that you are brave. When you are scuba diving you get to see many different things that you don't see with skydiving. But you aren't there for getting thrilled and scared more like relax and explore.
