Wow I can't beleive that there is only 50 days left because it feels like there's 50,000.I'm lokking forward to being treated more like a grown-up in 7th grade. Plus things are going to be taken a bit more seriously. I'm going to miuss all the fun activities that we always do in 6th grade. I mean there is fun activities in 7th grade but sometimes it's just so fun to act like a kid. I mean really who doesn't still love playing on the playground?! I'm a little nervous about the homework pile that we will be getting in 7th grade. I'm sure there will be absolutly not even close to any comparison between our middle school load and our elementary one.

I am mostly looking for to be doing engineering (if I get in) because of the building and designing I will be doing. I have always loved designing and constructing things but I never have the right supplies to make it. This class would help me get closer and closer to achieving my dream (:D). I'm not looking forward to the fact that the homework is worth part of your grade and that you get a lot of it. I really hope it will be easy. I'm kind of nervous on how the teachers will treat me because of my brother being in the classroom before (just kidding). The only reason that I'm nervous is because I don't want to be behind in the school if I'm ever sick so I will go to school no matter what (unless I'm dying :P)! I will miss you Mrs. Toenjes the most because I will always remember that you were the most kind and most generous and fun teacher I have ever had! Don't forget about me! :D

I am really excited to go to Explorer. I can't wait to do engineering. It will be awesome to make a model of an elevator work like a real one. I also am looking forward to strings. I can't wait to learn what were doing in math. There is nothing I am not nervous about anything at explorer. The only thing I am going to miss at desert trails is strings. I also am looking forward to at explorer is doing algebra and other awesome math stuff. In strings I can't wait to play new music and meet the strings teacher. I especially can't wait to learn stuff were doing in science. I can't wait to go to Explorer.

Wow! I can't believe we have less than 50 days of 6th grade. This year has gone by really fast. But anyway what I am looking forward to the most about going to explorer is that I am going to do some fun sports like volleyball and track and I can't wait for my electives because I picked some pretty fun ones. But mostly I am excited because going to middle school where a bunch of other schools get to go is meeting new people. I think that is going to be fun. I'm not really that nervous but I sometimes get nervous because I really don't want to get caught up in drama and bullying that would really stink. But other than that I am so excited for middle school. The thing I will probably miss about desert trails is my amazing teacher because Mrs. Toenjes has taught me so much and I really look forward to taking all of the new knowledge I have to 7th Grade. Thanks mrs. Toenjes.

First of all it is amazing to me that we only have less than 50 days left of school. I am looking forward to the electives in seventh grade. I am also looking forward to switching classes every period. Something I will miss at Desert Trails is the imagination center but explorer is so big on technology that I dont really have to worry about that. I am really looking forward to TechYes if I can get in. Also, I really want to get into the Paxton Action Lab elective too.

I am excited for 7th grade. The thing I'm looking forward to most is my electives and science. I hope I get Mr.G! What i am not looking forward to is its such a big school with so many students, I might not be able to find my friends. Also there is usally at least one bully, but I am just not going to be around those people. Now back to the present, I can't beleive theres only 50 days left! The school years ending too fast I really like my class this year. But I am going to miss about desert trails is you can see your friends before, after and during school, and it's smaller. Last but not least longer lunch/recess. But I am prepaird for 7th grade because Mrs. Toenjes has taught us so much and I have learned lots. I am going to miss all my teachers at Desert Trails.

I'm excited about 7th grade. I'm looking forward to engineering and the Paxton tech lab. I wish that middle school is easy even though it's not going to be. What I am going to miss at Desert Trails is how fun elementary school was. I am really excited about explorer middle school. I could see all my friends from other schools at explorer. I'm really excited about explorer.

I'm very excited to go to explorer, because I really want to get the elective spanish, so I can get a head start. Also i want to do engineering, because it involves lots of math, and coding that I want to learn how to do. It will be a very fun one. Also, i'm looking forward to PE, because the PE here is alright but the middle school one with probably be a better system. Also, instead of having PE 1 or 2 times a week, it'll be very day! It will be a bid 7th grade, and I will get to meet some of the other kids that I know, that go to another school nearby. I think this middle experience will be a blast! I think that it will be more like high school and college, because the teachers don't tell you to come in for lunch to makeup work. Anyways its unbelievable that we are leaving so soon, even though it was yesterday that we came here. I am thrilled to be at Explorer.

I really looking forward to in 7th grade is everyone in explorer. I am really looking forward to see everyone because everyone who was here in K-5 should see everyone from Greyhawk, Wildfire, and Fireside. I am also looking forward to in 7th grade is spainish. I am looking forward to spainish because what if you went to Meixico, and you didn't know how to speak spainish that would SUCK!!! Another thing is I looking forward to sports. I am looking forward to sports because theres things like baseball, basketball, soccer, and football. So thats my reasons why I am looking forward to 7th grade. PS Mrs.t thank you for being a more than amazing teacher to me for 2 years now. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! GRIFFIN:) :)

I am not looking forward that im not going to explorer:( I also am not looking forward to the fact IO need to find more friends. I am looking forward to 7th grades P.E> activitys, and cant wait to get there!

My sister say it is ok there but i am still scared to go. i can not wait till get to do pacts and facts.7th grade is going to be fun and scary.It is going to be a hard time going to a diffrent school because i have been there seens kindergarden. I will miss all of my teachers i had. but the most thing is that i am growing up and going to be in the 7th grade. I just think that what is it like to go to a diffrent school and how hard it is going to be. i will miss all of my teachers i ever had even if they do not go to the school I will never forget them.

I cant believe theres less then 50 days left of school.This school year has gone buy so fast. I am mostly looking forward to Engineering In 7th grade.Im not looking forward to longer school hours.How about shorter school hours and less days of school.Isn't the school hours at explorer from like 9 to 3:45.

Okay, I am being honest right now, and saying that I am kind of scared to go to seventh grade. Everything will change. Some of your friends might not go, you might get a bad teacher, and things can go wrong like making enemy's and stuff. You never know what will happen. I might miss a thing or two at desert trails. I'll miss the teachers, the constant shouts in the cafeteria, even the teachers that always say my name wrong. I will definitely NOT miss the duty aids though. I mean come on, can you blame me. I will still be nervous about the whole classes and teachers thing though. I have a sister that went to Explorer and a friend that goes right now. I hear that it is a good school. Though I do hear that a Mrs.Young is pretty strict. I hope I don't get her in first block. I will miss the very little homework we get though. I mean come on, think about it. Only 1 to 2 sheets a night and a blog to do. That is the smallest homework I have ever gotten. I hope that the teachers there have mercy. Because I might need it.Well, enough about explorer. I have a book to read.

I am very excited for 7th grade! I think the thing I am looking forward to the lunch time. I'm not looking forwardto the extended homework, though. I,m going to miss all of my teachers here at DTES, but I still think it will be fun to move on to explorer. Explorer is just buzzing with new chances to do new things. Explorer will be great. I can't wait!!!

I am exited to go to Explorer. I am not nervous about anything in 7th grade. I wish that we had the tour of Explorer before we picked our electives so we could know what they are like before we picked. Know I wish I put engineering for my number 1. I am going to miss elementary school and 6th grade and I am going to miss my teachers. I wish I could stay in elemantary school but I can't. That is what I am looking forward to 7th grade.

I am really excited to go to explore.The thing that I'm nervous about is switching classes and that I will get lost.I am going to miss Desert trails.I will also miss my teachers and my buddies.I hope that I can have fun and do well at explore.I know that I am going to make lots of new friends and hopefully my teachers like me.

I look forward to meeting new people in 7th grade. It's hard to believe that after seven years at DTES I'll be leaving. I wish we could have a longer lunch period. I also wish we had recess. I'm going to miss all the things about Desert Trails. I'm excited for middle school.

I'm not that excited about 7th grade. They only allow 3 minutes to get from class to class. When do you get to go to the bathroom? The school is really big. I don't know how they expect up to get to class on time. Also I am sure I will not like the homework load. I will also miss not having Mrs. Toenjes as my teacher. Having a York attack, gotta go

ReplyDeleteSeventh grade will be a big change for me in a lot of ways. First, I have to agree with Gina that allowing 3 minutes to get to class is a little sheepish. Also, we will have to take it more seriously because we will have stricter teachers. I'm really excited about starting our electives in seventh grade, and also that school starts at 9. Of course I will miss my teachers at Desert Trails and all of the projects that we do, especially the Gods and Godessess, and the play of course. I am also excited to be able to switch classes in 7th grade.
ReplyDeleteI feel that 7th grade will be a big transition for all of us. Now in 6th grade we are confined to 2 - 3 classrooms a day which is not very exciting, where at Explorer in 7th grade we will be moving around everywhere. I will agree with Gina and Austin that 3 minutes is a very unreasonable time to get from classroom to classroom. After 6 years at Desert Trails I will miss everything about it ( except the food). When I arrived at Desert Trails as a 1st grader the only thing I wanted to do is go back to California. But as a little squirrel lover I grew to like this school and I will sort of miss it. I am VERY excited to spend my lunch in the library or just walking around. I am really looking forward to Explorer.

I feel like that 7th grade will be hard. I have had my brother and sister both go to that school and what I have heard is that some math stays the same through 8th grade but some changes. I have also heard is that the 8th graders call you sevies. I have been at desert trails since kindergarten and I have been tied to this place with my grandma working here and my brother and sister going here. There's not many people who have stayed at this school since kindergarten though. I have been at desert trails school for 7 years now the longest time you will spend at a school and my time here is done.

I am nervous about the switching and finding where i need to go. Also it is going to be weird seeing a billion new faces and not exactly knowing everyone. But overall I am very excited. I am SO excited for 7th grade! I'm mainly looking forward to meeting all the people from the other schools and seeing old friends that moved. I'm also looking forward to all the electives like Home Ec. and Tech Lab. Also, I am so excited to be able to be in festival sports. But I am going to miss Desert Trails. I've been coming here since kindergarten and I'll miss all the teachers and parties. SO yeah. Hope everyone has a good weekend!

I am excited to find out some of the classes that i choose. I am gonna miss desert trails so much. I have been at this school since kindergarden. i have so many memories from this school. I am looking forward to engineering in middle school because i have always wanted to build stuff that acctually works. it will be fun to go into 7th grade but i will miss everyone. I will miss the feild trips. Presonly i wish middle school was more like elematry. Man i will really miss elemantary.

I love being a sixth grader but time goes by so fast. I am very sad to leave 6th grade. Going into middle school for the first time in my life will be scary although Explorer seems very welcoming. I am afraid I wont get all of my assignments done on time. I think that 7th grade will be fun too. Having to walk to different classes will be fun and hard at the same time. I will love to be in band and many other classes (Including SCIENCE I love science). That is what I am afraid of and excited about 7th grade.Jessica
