Catalina Island Field Trip

I am most excited about the bus ride and the snorkeling at Catalina. I am excited for the bus ride because i always love the trips there because you can socialize and see all the things that you pass, but unfortunately we cannot bring our i-pods or phones to listen to music. I want to snorkle because I went to Hawaii when I was four or five and I was too afraid to snorkle with the rest of my family so I am really looking forward to it except for the temperature of the water. I wish that we could go off on our own and hike a bit for peace and quiet or just wade in the water, but of course there is school rules and we can't! And again, we can't listen to music! I hope we can ride the golfcarts or segways. We should watch The Help on the way to Catalina. I haven't been snorkeling beofre, but I have been SNUBA diving. I hope I get to see a sea turtle because I have always wanted to see one and my sisters and my dad saw one when they went snorkeling in Hawaii. I am looking forward to Catalina but I don't like the fact that we can't go off on our own or at least with a buddy so we're safe.
ReplyDeleteWhat I'm looking forward to is the bus ride and snorkeling. I look forward to the bus ride because we can watch movies, talk joke around, and have fun. I also can't wait for snorkeling because we get to see the animal life in the ocean. I don't look forward to the 6 hour drive to Catalina. I wish we could have like an hour to do whatever you want to do on Catalina. I can't wait for Catalina island!

What I am looking forward to is disecting a squid, going to the shark tank. While we go snorkeling I hope to see a shark. That would be great. I am looking forward to seeing tons of coral and hopefully dolphins will come. I have been snorkeling before and last time was awesome cause dolphins swam right under me, which was in Hawaii. SNUBA is better than snorkeling and is totally awesome. I have even been night snorkeling in Hawaii with Manta rays.

What I am looking forward to in Catalina is snorkeling. I have never been snorkeling. It sounds fun and cool though. I am not looking forward to the bus ride. I don't really like driving for a long time.I am also not look ing forward to the boat ride. I hope that we get to see a lot of marine life in CIMI. I want to see a sea turtle. I also want to see other colorful fish. On the bus ride I thing it would be fun to watch Finding Nemo. I thing that CIMI will be really fun.

I am extremely looking forward to Catalina. I am looking forward to hanging out with my friends. I am also looking forward to the road trip on the bus, because I like the moment when we arrive. I have not tried to snorkel alot, but I know the basics. I am glad that we get to miss most of the school week. I am not that excited to sleep in those beds, but I am thinking that it could be comfortable. I also hope well be able to to pick my group, but I hope to get someone I want in my group. I think the food should be good, and I think it will be cool to dissecting the sqiud.

I can't wait to go to Catalina Island because I know this could be a once in a life time experience. I am looking forward to dissecting a squid because it would be a great time learning how the squid's body works and how its tentacles keep it from grabbing its prey and swimming up and down and side to side. I am not really looking forward to snorkeling because if it's in the real ocean I have a great fear of sharks. I would not like it if a shark crept up on us while we were suppose to be having the time of our lives. I hope we could have a little extra sleep so we won't be tired like, at least I am, we are at school. I have to admit I didn't know we got to watch a video but that sounds great! I think the most appropriate video we should watch would be Finding Nemo. As we all know, it goes into the setting of the ocean and how fish are magnificent and brilliant in their own way. I have been snorkeling before but it wasn't in the ocean. It was a special lake area with man ray and interesting fish. It was probably as deep in the water I've ever gone in with fish. I hope to see a rainbow fish because I love it when you can see the color reflecting of the sun. I can't wait until Catalina!!!!!

I AM SO EXCITED FOR CATALINA!!!! I am really looking forward to everything there besides the freezing cold water and leaving of course! But i am really excited because i think that his will be a wonderful experience for all of us!!! And besides, who wouldn't want to go on such a fun trip like this!?!?!?!?!?!? My brother went on this trip 2 years ago and ever since he went, I was DYING to go!!!!!! So I am really not not looking forward to going to Catalina! And by the way, that was a double neggative which equals a positive so I am really looking forward to everything!!!! :) And pretty much the only thing that I am not sure on is swimming. When my brother went 2 years ago, he said that he got to dive like 30 feet deep and he saw a great white shark, but now we have been told that we only get to go snorking on the surface area, so that is the only thing that I am confused about. I think that we should watch . . . well, I don't really care, as long as it isn't a BOY movie! Because BOY movies are boring! But I guess I think that because I’m a GIRL!!!!! So anyway, I have never been snorkeling before, but I am sure that it is great fun, so I'm not complaining or worried about anything. The only animal life I wish to see there is something that I have never seen before with me own eyes but i still recognize it. That may make no sense to you, but hink of it this way: I have never seen a real lepord before, but i still know what it looks like form pictures! But I want to see at least 5 different animals there! Because if we didn't see at least 5, then that would be just sad! And I did not read the whole bolg directions untill like right now, so I did not realize that it said to answer any OR all questions, so I just went ahead and answered all of them! But you know, at least I did extra instead of too little! :) I JUST CAN'T WAIT UNTILL WE GO!!! I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!! :)

DeleteI am probably looking forword to the bus and ferry rides the most. This is because I love the journey just as much as I love the destination. The journey is a time to relax and talk to everybody. It is a truely fun time. I am also looking forword to the dissection of the squid. I'm not trying to be completely sick and all, but I really want to learn how they can breathe underwater. I can't wait for Catalina!

WOW!!!!! I am so excited for Catalina I can't wait another minute. There are so many wonderful things I am looking forward to. The mist probably has to be dissecting squids, snorkeling, and doing fun hands on activities. I have heard Catalina Island us suppose to be a blast so there isn't anything I would not want to do. Plus I LOVE the ocean it is NY favorite place ever and when ever I go on a family vacation there I am always the first and the water and the last out of the water. One thing I hope we do is take a walk on the beach because I also LOVE finding sea shells and rocks I have thus huge Rick collection from the beach and places all over the world. I also have a lot of shells I have collected them over the years I have gone to the beach. I love watching movies I have seen do many and I wouldn't be able to choose but since we are going to be by the ocean I would want to watch finding nemo that has to be one of my favorite Disney movies I just love all the classics. There is a ton of other movies I could name but they would probably fill up a whole blog. I have never been snorkeling before but am so excited it is deffinatly another adventure I can add to my list. I hope to see probably everything there is but what I would want to see most would have to be really colorful fish, dolphins, all of the tide pool animals and jellyfish. I think jellyfish are so cool I have only seen them once and that was on a cruise. I an so excited for Catalina I am literally flying off the walls right now :)

I'm so excited to Catalina!!!!! I really want to go snorkling and dysect a squid!!! In fact I'm excited for everthing there is not one thing that I am not looking forward to. I really hope we get to climb the rock wall that they said they have!! I'm sad that you can't bring any electronics :'(. Not even an i-Pod?! Craziness!!! I have never gone snorkling before but I've gotten close. I just couldn't get past breakers and then I lost a flipper. But when we go snorkling I'm hoping that we see any type of life because seeing something like that in it's natural habitat is always a treat!!!

I am really exited for the Catalina field trip. I have never done almost any of the things that were going to do. I really wanted to bring a few electronics though. But rules are rules. I really want to see a number of marine life there. Like sharks and squid. I think we should watch avengers on the buss ride. I am a little tired of the Disney movies that we watch on most of our field trips. I think that the trip will be fun either way. I am still unsure about the whole cabin mates thing on the trip. And other than that,I think that the trip will be really cool.(Where's my book!?")

I am looking forward to going snorcaling.But Im not looking forward to how hard it will be to sleep on the bus with all the noise.Im not sure about who Im going to get paired up with.Im not really sure about what movie to watch.I mean there are a lot of fun movies out there.But Im not sure witch one to watch..But Im still REALLY REALLY excited about this field trip.I hope we all have a good time.

I am so excited for Catalina! Everything looks so amazing besides a the temperature like Austin said. I am really looking forward to the shark tank and being able to pet them. I also want to dissect a squid and talk to people on the bus. And snorkeling looks like a ton of fun. One thing I really hope we do: eat McDonald' s at around 5 or 6 in the morning. My brother said that was actually fun ;)'. For the bus ride over, a fun movie to watch could be (like everyone is saying) Finding Memo or just for fun Cars. There are going to be so many fun experiences and activities I' m excited for! Well, I should probably go to bed pretty soon so I' 'll wrap this up and my Kindle is being mean to me. I can' t wait for Catalina in February!

ReplyDeleteI am super excited for Catalina! I am really excited to go snorkeling but I am also kind of scared because I have a feeling that we are going to be snorkeling in the middle of the ocean. I'm not that excited to dissect a squid because I LOVE animals and I don't really like when there being harmed... but I'll do it anyway for the experience. I really don't know which movie we should watch because a lot of movies I watch are PG-13. I really want to see shark of a dolphin.

I am REALLY excited for our Catalina trip. There will be so many things to do in so little time. We will get to snorkel and dissect squids. I haven't snorkeled before. I have a concern. I'm not sure why I can't have a cell phone. What if I want to call my Mom? Seeing all of the ocean life will be great. To answer your question about what we should watch on the way to Catalina, I suggest Finding Nemo! The animal life I would like to see during our trip is Phytoplankton under a microscope! I am excited to learn about the ocean life of Catalina. I bet there are many, many facts to learn. That is why I am excited for Catalina!Jessica

I really want to go snorkling because I'v been snorkling a few times in Hawaii because I go there like every summer except for last summer, but I never gone snorkling in Catalina!!! Also my sister has told me so many thing about Catalina and I am dieing to disect a squid. I wonder what ocean life we will see? The movie I think we should watch Finding Nemo on the way there. Though I am also sad because we can't bring our electronics to like listen to music or play on during the bus ride but we would not want to loose it there. I am sooo EXSITED!!!!!

I am very excited for Catilina. I've been here before when, I lived in California. The place we are going, is the other side of the island, in which I stayed. I have snorkeled, and I really look forward to that, because the water is crystal clear, although the water is very cold. I want to dissect a squid, because I've done it before, and I acidentally popped the ink sac. I would like to bring my phone, but the rules say you can't. I see the reason, why we couldn't bring them. They could get lost, people wouldn't pay ANY attention, and people wouldn't want to participate in activities. I would really want to see, The Three Stooges, because I have never seen it and would really want to. Also, its supposed to be funny, and I could use a laugh of a long and boring trip. I know that there are a lot of sharks, but they are ONLY in the middle of the ocean, where the boat goes. But other that that there are no sharks along the coastline. I want to see fish, but again, there are usually not as many fish as you expect. Trust me, it happens every time. I want to see the crabs that live there, because they look funny, when they walk. I wish we could go in a small group and explore a small section of the island. That would be fun, because we wouldn't have to follow a trail that has been walked on, hundreds of times. I think that Catilina will be a great experience for everyone!

I am REALLY excited for Catalina! On the bus ride I am pretty sure that I probably not going to sleep. On the bus ride I think we should watch INCEPTION.A even better movie would be Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World. I'm sure the teachers would never let us watch movies like that but it's a really awesome movie. Most likely the teachers wouldn't even play a movie and they will probably tell us to get some sleep. The thing I am looking forward to the most is the bus ride, the ferry ride, and most of all. I am exited for the Catalina. The thing that i AM looking foward to the most is the snorkleing i want to try to find a yelllow tube sponge to see my bretheren. The bus ride wil be veerry boring and i really wish that we could have our elecctronics and i do not know why the teachers wont let us have them but i might still bring mine anyway. i still dont know the reason why we cant bring electronics?

What I think I am looking forward to is snorkeling. I hope we see gold fish and other amazing fish. I hope they nibble at me because it is suppose to tickle. I am not looking forward to going on to the bus AT 12:00 IN THE MORNING! Still i hope the bus is a fast ride i cant wait till the boat ive never been in the ocean. I wont be dicecting a squid never!
ReplyDeleteI am really excited for the snorkling and the hiking. I can't wait to see the fish up close. I like the way we get to go on a filed trip to learn about sea life. It is a fun field trip where you can learn but also hang out with friends. But i can't wait to dissect a squid. That will be the one that is most fun. I hope no one hits the ink sack. That would be a mess.
ReplyDeleteIN Catalina I am looking forward to go Snorkling. I don't want to get sea sick on the boat because I have been known to have a "Weak Stomach". I don't want to stay awake on the bus because then I don't have to wait and then I can just fall asleep and i will wake up at the boat and it will be like nothing even happened. I really want to try the food there because I heard it is soposed to be good. I want to see what the rooms look like there because I don't want to be smooshed in a small bed. I wish that I could know everything before so I could be more prepared. That is what I am looking forward to and not.

When we go to catalina i am looking forward to going snorkeling. I am not looking forward to sleeping in the beds they i think they are going to be pretty small. I really hope the food is good there I have heard good things but im still not sure myself. I once went snorkeling in hawaii and saw lots of things I even saw a sea lion under the water. I hope we sea lots of fish and hopefully even a sea lion or a seal again.
