I think presidents should just rule for four years. If presidents just ruled for life Obama wouldn't be president or other presidents. I think four years is a little to short. I think presidents should rule for eight years. If presidents gave the rule to a family member it would last forever and there would be wars. That would be very bad. It could turn into like the Warring States period in China. Cities would be fighting. It is unlikely that would happen but it could. I also think that the most important thing a president does is fix problems(not always but usually) and makes new, and good laws. That is what I think presidents do that is important and is why they are important.

The first thing I would do if I were elected president is go give a speech saying. "Thank you to all of those who voted for me. I hope to be the greatest president of the United States!" I think that the president should first try to get the country out of debt (because were in trillions of debt). I think having a election every four years is a good time length for the presidential election .I think that it shouldn't run in the family because the vote for who they think will help our economy and if it went in a family line then it wouldn't be fair on citizens choice for there president. I think the most important thing the president does is they are commander and chief of the army.

I would care for those in need and help make them better people. Having an election every four years is a good idea because people may not like their president (Obama). I think four years is a perfect time! I think it should stay an election for different people because America wants a choice! If was elected president I would definitely lower gas prices and lower taxes. I would have more border patrols at Mexico's border. I think the president should have five or six years and it would be their choice to be president for five or six years. Yes the president should have the choice to whether to pass on the job to someone in the family or have elections for random people to be the next possible president. I would also try to lower the debt to mostly china and all the other countries. Finally I would end the war in Iraq.

ReplyDeleteIf I were elected as president my first task would be to get the economy back on track and to deal with our immigration problems. To improve the economy, I would tax less like Romney to help people get back on their feet, and stop spending money on useless things such as building more roads or buildings when we already have enough. SLowly but surely the economy would get back on it's feet by paying off our debt with the useless money that we spend. To deal with immigration, I would talk to Mexico's officials and see if they can figure something out and keep their people out of country, and if that didn't work, electrical fences could be set up, even going underground, so they could not enter without being a U.S. citizen. I think four years is enough, because if a president is doing a bad job, then they get out of office quicker. There should not be dynasty's, because this is a free country, and with a dynasty the rest of our government can possibly be overthrown making us an unfree country once again, and a target to take out the world's best country. The most important thing a president does is being the commander-in-chief of our military. This is what keeps us free, and we need a smart, qualified person such as the president to fufill this special role. Whoever gets into office, they should definitely pay back kindness to our allies, which they are not happy with us, because someone doesn't deal with their allies in an intelligent way. (Not saying any names.) Let's hope our country is going into good future!
ReplyDeleteIf I was Elected President I would make the economey better because its not the best right now.I would also make the gas prices lower because it's almost 100 dollars!I would donate money to charity.I think the years of them bieng president is perfect.I think presidents should pass it on to the next person in line.I would also not let as much money go to waste.I think it should be spent on things like buildings home and stores.

If I were elected I would start raising money for paying back other Countries we ow money to. I think if the contrys should vote if the president is doing a bad job, or a good job, and go by majoridie wins. I would not want it to be like Chinas ruling, because there would be a ton of fighting. One of the most important thing as a president is to keep us happy with his, or her choices. I would start working on projects to regain money for our country. I would finallytry to stregthen our economyfor our country. Tha is what I would do as president.

Since I'm only 11, 4 years seems like seems like a million years to me. So it is hard to say how long a president should be in office. I'm sure that will change when I get older, but I don't think someone should be president for life. The first thing the president should do is to use a lot of money to give to China to make the amount of money we owe to them not as much. Also ending wars because it kills a lot of people and uses a lot of money we could be using for more important things. I would not like to use some of the extra money to build homes, buildings and stores because there are a lot of empty homes, buildings and stores right now. Also because they have to chop down trees which would reduce the oxygen and they are already putting bad chemicals in the air.

I would not like to be president at all because I think that it is just WAY too much to handle. I just can't take all of the stress and responsibility of the job! I think the first thing that the President handles is the econimy. I think that kids age 13 and up should be able to vote. I think this because by the time a person gets into their teens, they should be mature enough to have that right. But I do like that a term is 4 years. It just seems like a resonable amount of time for a President to be in office.

I think that it would be fun being president but its way to much responsiblity and work so I dont really know if i would.I think the first thing that our president needs to do is really lower the tax and gas prices.I think that it is a good idea to have an election every four years unless it is a bad president then it should be two years.I think the term is good for 4 years.I don't think that the presidents should serve for life beacuse its way to much responsebilty and they need time to be with thee familys and not have that much stress on their hands.I think the most important thing that the president does is make sure to serve his country very well.i wish i could live in the white house though.

If I were to be elected president the first thing I would do is that I would lower the gas prices to 45cents. I think Barack Obama is a HORRIBLE choice as the new president Mitt Romney is a way better choice, Obama lies and does not do anything that he said that he would do. Gas prices were 1.00 until Barack Obama came along.

If I were elected president, I would instantly lower gas prices. I would love being president because I have good ideas. About the real world. I didn't vote for Obama because I personally don't see a single change in this country besides Osama Bin Ladin being killed. I think Obama should do much more in this country. Look at his wife! She's trying to get kids to exercise and eat healthy. I don't hate Obama but I don't like him all that much either. I don't think there should be dynasties just because it just doesn't make sense.

If I would elected president, the first thing I would do, would be to meet up with my family. Being president is a very stressful job, but I think I could handle that job. To vote, I think that people 16 and older, because 16-year old people are somewhat responsible and are pretty much adults. I know for a fact, that I would have a product that has anti-grey color. If you haven't noticed, but every president's hair after they finish their term(s), they always come in with black hair, and come out with grey. I would try to be elected for two terms, so I actuly get something done. I would be a democratic president, but that's just my opinion. I think that everything should stay just the way it is.

I would do so because lots of middle class families right now are struggling with paying taxes and the rich are not paying as much taxes that middle class families are paying (either lower the taxes or make us pay the same amount!). I think that the term of four years for the president is a great thing... I think. the term of four years is not to short or to or too long to me the term length is fine to me. As president I would raise funds for womens rights. I am really into womens rights because I think it's important for women to vote, run, and have a voice.

If i was elected president, the very first thing i would do is go to the White house and go in the biggest room there is and jump on the bed.The bed would be pretty big. I do think it is far if you are elected every four years. It is a good idea because that is a lot of time to think if you like him or if you don't and if it was a good idea to vote for him. I would also make the gas prices go DOWN they are really big right now.That is NOT good.

If I were elected president, (the country must be insane) the first thing I would do is lower gasoline prices. The first thing the president should work on is work on the debt. I think an election every four years is a good idea. I also think that presidents shouldn't be limited to how many terms they get. It would be a horrible idea for a president to get life and then pass it down to his heir. The most important thing a president does is everything. Everything is important that the president does.

If I was elected president the very first thing that I wpould do is finish the fence on the border Arizona no matter how long or how much money it costs. The I would try to slowly pay off the dedt beacause it was bad when Bush was in office but it got trillions of dollors more when Obama took office. I think that the voting process should be different because right now it is just slopy. The electoral votes are not the best idea because the people who make the decision if what state they won in just not fair. They don't wait to see who gets the the avios highest votes. They just call it in a couple of thousands of vots. I think that they should What until it is higher and over all all the voting gets in unless it is an oviose win not just a few thousand votes. I think that the four years is ok but I think it should be like, five years. Why four? Just a random number. That is what I think about the voting proccess and what I would do if i was president.

I think that every two years we should elect a President because If something is going wrong and people need a change it would happen quicker. I think that Presidents should be elected. If it was like the dynasties of China it would be like the people do not have a say and there would be a war. I think that the most important thing that the President does is helping America with its economy. That is my opinion.

If I were elected president the first thing I would do is try and lower gasoline prices. I would also try and build more solar panels around the country. Another thing I would do is slowly and efficiently pay off the debt that we owe. I think a president being replaced by one of their family members is a horrible idea because there would be tons of presidents that would never have a chance. Serving for life as president would be a bad idea because if it's a bad president then that president could make everything worse for the US. Being president is a lot of responsibility.

The very first thing that I would do, would be to put more money into health care as to things such as things like, walks to fight breast cancer, etc. I would also put education first. I would also have a national reading day. But that is just for me. I would although have to have raise taxes for all these things. Yet, I would make new job openings for people every where. People would also be more safe, I would make a law that you would have to have a security system without the need of pay. I also would take all of the technology a little slower. Like still have regular books and dells. So that is my opinion if I were the president. So I think I'm gonna read a book now.

If I was the president, I would stop all the wars and make sure that there weren't any homeless people! Because I hate seeing homeless people on the side of the street. It is just sad because they have nowhere to go and the have to shelter to stay in. And I do not think that switching every 4 years for president is a good idea. I think that it would make much more sense if the elections were every 2 years because you would not have to wait so long to get a different president if you didn't like the president, and if most of the people in the united states like the president because he is that good, then he can get re-elected, and you would be able to get re-elected the same amount of time that we do now, I think that is 10 years, and then all of our problems would be solved. And most of all, I think that it would be a terrible idea if the president served for his life and passed the job down to someone else in his family!!!! That would be just TERRIBLE!!!! And pretty STUPID! I would hate that. And I really do not know what the most important thing a president does because I do not know very much about the president!

If I were president the first thing I would do is lower taxes on the poor. I think the term for president should be 2 years long. I would also make more jobs for the poor. I would also get more money for the army. One thing the government should allow is a country vote to fire the current president. That is what I would do if I were president.

If I were to become president the first thing I would do is thank everyone that is my friend or family for supporting me through the election. I think the the first thing a president should do is make sure his promises aren't empty by not just making promises to get votes and forgetting the next minute. I think that the time frame is good but it could be a little shorter because if the president was not a great one you have to wait so long to get a better president. I don't think it would be good because then you don't you have your children always working to be a president because the have a for sure shot at being the president and no child wants to live like that. You also lose the whole purpose of having a president because that would basically make him a king or an emperor and that's why we made the United States in the first place and we would also lose the democracy of our politics. The most important thing a president does is they make the laws and they make the world easier by doing a job that keeps all the others from taking on that responsibility.

If I were president for 4 years I would do lot sof thing. Im not quite sure what I would do but I would do lots of things. I think that being president for 4 years is a long time and that it should be like 3 or 2. I mean I can see why its 4 years and also voting all the time but still. If I were president I would definitely try and make the economy better. Well, after I was elected president I would make all ice'cream free of charge. Also I'd go to all the amusment parks I wanted to go to. But if it was for real I really wouldn't want to be the president because there is always so guy who hates your guts and wants to shoot you and like I want to have my life risked? I mean I know there's secret service and everything but just AHH you know I wouldn't be able to sleep at night! So that's my opinion on that matter. But with the president elected now I don't think I would be a good idea if it worked out like the dynasty's in China because if there wasn't another person to be president there would be some crazy war because people would want to be ruler of the US. Well, maybe there wouldn't be a war we might be a bit more civilized but on the other hand like maybe Obama's son would act the same as Obama did and what if people didn't like that? Well, really I like the way we are doing the elections now it's civilized and human like. So I hope it doesn't change.
