Apollo 13
Now that we've begun studying the moon, and watched Apollo 13, would you ever want to be involved in real space travel? Would you want to visit the MOon and actually step foot on it, or orbit the Moon and view Earth from outer space? If not, why would you not want to be a part of space travel? What do you think would be the hardest part, and/or coolest part about space travel? Think about everything the Apollo 13 astronauts had to go through when you answer.

I would not want to go into space and I also would. I would because it would be cool to be in space. I would want to step foot on the moon. It would also be awesome to go around the moon. The reason I wouldn't want to go is because it is risking your life. On one of the Apollo's it burned up before they even were out of the atmosphere. Also something could break like it did in apollo 13 and maybe they couldn't fix it. ( If I was going to go to the moon I would HAVE to learn the moon walk.) I think the coolest part in space travel would be no gravity. It would be really weird.

Now that I have been learning more about the moon, I really would like to be in real space travel because I think it would be an incredible adventure. I would want to walk on the moon because only 12 people have ever done it and it would be astonishing. I would want to leave a fresh footprint so it will stay for thousands of years. I could also see Earth from space at great angle and I wouldn't need to strain to see it through the window in the space ship. I think that the oxygen and fuel tanks would be the hardest part about space travel because if you didn't have them, you would not survive in space.

I would not like to be in space travel because it is way too dangerous for me. It involves going into a place never visited, only by a few, and taking tons of risks. Some of the reasons I would not want to go would be that I could freeze to death, I could not have enough oxygen, and we could burn up in the atmosphere of Earth. But, it would be cool to see the Earth from outer space and the gravity not so powerful, so that I could hop. I think the hardest part of space travel would be that you have to wait a long time to get to the moon, and then get back. The most amazing part of space travel would be that you get to step/hop on the moon, and get to see Earth from the Moon. Austin H.
ReplyDeleteI would not be involved in space travel. One reason is that the stress would make me go crazy. I feel it would be too dangerous for me. I think it is too dangerous because if I made one mistake, I could jeopardize the mission and everyone else on the shuttle. I also think it would be too much work for me.

I would want to go to the moon!I would not want to ride the space shuttle!I think it would be to much stress! What if u crash!I would run the mission and talk to them and tell them if they are going to crash into something! It would be so sad to watch those people die!It wouldnt be a sucsessfull mission!I like space. But not enough to take a risk of my life!It would let the people down that wanted to see their son or husband die in space!I would'nt want to get that sickness in space like they did in apollo 13!I wonder how easy it would be to walk and do a flip on space!I like space a lot!

I would not want to be involved in space because it is a hard job and you would be under a lot of pressure. I would never in my life ever go to the moon! I wound not want to go to the moon, step foot on the moon or be involved in real space travle because something could go wrong and I could die! I would not want to orbit the moon either. I think space travel is fun to learner about. Space travel would be cool if nothing would go wrong and if space was a lot safer.

I would like to be on board with this mission. I also would like having the thrill of setting foot on the moon. The only thing I would not go on this adventure for is all the dangers in space. Also I believe that it would be hard to do all of those commands on the shuttle. Thats what I would do in space.

Yes I would like to be apart of space travle. It would be so much fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I thought the movie was cool and was really suspenceful. I think everyone enjoyed it. Also I would lke to go to the moon pesonily.
ReplyDeletekameron
Yes I would want to be involved in space travel. I wold like to actully step foot on the moon because I would not have to go through all the trouble to fly and then not get to be on the moon. I think that the coolest part about space travel would be just to be able to see the planets from a different view. I think the hardest part would be to make sure you do not crash and die. Also, I think it might be difficult to find this and that button among that sea of buttons.

Yes I would want to go up in space. I would because I could be the 1st kid up in space. I wouldn't because I could die and that would probably hurt a lot of people. The coolest part about being up in space is feeling the Moon just like in your feet and knowing that there are people on Earth looking for me in the sky. And knowing that they know in I'm looking down at them on the Moon. The scariest part would be that anything could go wrong. Knowing that I could die and that would be the end of me,

At first I would say yes because, "How many people get the oportunity to go up in space?" Later when it is a small space craft as small as it can be, that is when bad things start happening. If I am in small spaces too long and start to think about it, I start freeking out. When the temperature reached where it was very hot, I would faint because of the heat. I have almost fainted in Arizona because of the heat so I would definatly faint. If I had too much presure on me I would start crying so that would not be good either. I had so much pressure on me in the Chalenger Space Center with out Alli's help, I would have been totaly crying.

I would say yes because I would be very famous by being the first kid in space.I would also say yes because I would love to see the moon up close.I would say no because if the ship was to small then I would freak out.I would also say yes because I would be able to see the sun up close to.I would love to do so many things if I was in space.

Yes, I would go to the moon. What I want to do is go to the moon, walk around, then collect samples then go home. I just think that space was so fascinating!!!!!! I would also like to orbit the moon so I would be able to se the back side of the moon. What I think the hardest/coolest part would be to fly the rocket and eject all of the parts of the ship back to Earth. From what I think, it would be that you have the most pressure to get to the moon, and back home saftly home.

Yes I would go to the moon. I would do the moon walk. Explore the moon and collect moon rock and go play MOON FOOTBALL!!! Wow, space is so awesome! The hard job would be to fly the spacecraft. It would be a very very hard job! The Grif Man
ReplyDeleteI would want to be part of some space travel and set foot on the moon, but only if there were absolutly NO problems!
ReplyDeleteIf something happened on the spaceship, then I would never forgive the person that caused it, if it was a person that caused it and not just the problem naturally happening. I would want to set foot on the moon and I would absolutly LOVE to!!!!!!!! And everything would be so cool!!! I would acctually get to go into space and possibly see asnother planet!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think that it would be just a blast to go there and a huge blast to see what it feels like to be somewhere with absolutly NO gravity!!!! Although I can understand anyone that would not want to go because they are probably scared, and I do not een know if I would have the guts to go too, only if someone tried really hard to convince me, but I do indeed understand the people that would not want to go because of everything that could happen on it. But anyone that goes up into space is truely taking a huge risk because they really do not know what will happen on the trip, and so they are not sure that they will acctually live, but of course, it is not very likely!!! If I had a chance to go up in space, then I would really enjoy the trip and all the time that I got to brag to all of my friends and family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But it would be a cool trip and I am really interested in the moon and Earht, and Space itself!!!! I love learning about space to a trip to it would truely be amazaing!!!!!

P.S: Sorry for the long blog, I reall got carried away this time!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI don't really know about space travel, but I don't think that I would like to go out to space. Too many things could go wrong, like in Apollo 13. I think the hardest part of space travel would be taking the risk of things going wrong. I think the easiest part would be getting out and walking on the moon. It would be so fun to bounce around and have little gravity.

I would LOVE to go to the moon. I would want to go and land and orbit the moon. I would just be freaked out that I would never see my family again. I would want to do both orbit the moon and set foot on the moon. They both would be an honer. The hardest part of it would be trying to get back to earth with all the challenges. I think it would be SUPER FUN to land on the moon and look at the earth. I also think bringing a telescope to the moon and looking at the other planet would be really fun and more interesting than just looking at the other planets from Earth. It would be WAY closer.
ReplyDeleteBen #23
I don't know if I would or not,but I could.I would like to go up in space and actully see the moon and the planets but i would also be very dagerous.I would really like to see and or touch the moon. But all lot of things could go wrong and not be able to see your family again but going to moon is risking your life. The easiest part would be taking off or stuff when you in space and being on the moon and walking around.
ReplyDeleteAlli
I would not like to go in space because in apollo 13. I decided that if i get stuck. I would panic, in seconds. Also i would not want to be disappointed when i hear i can't go to the moon if we want to go home. The hardest part i think would be not going to the moon in apollo 13 astronauts veiw like you. No i would not like to go up in space. If i could.
ReplyDeleteDanielle =D
I would definitly want to go on the moon. If I on the moon it would be cool to see Earth from outerspace. The hardest part would be our oxygen tanks because they can pretty easily run out. It would be very boring while you were flying to the moon and back, though. I will be the 13th man to land on the moon!
ReplyDeleteI think space travel would be exciting yet scary because you could die if something goes wrong. But it would so exciting to set foot on the Moon!!! Maybe I could be the first child on the Moon or the first woman! I could do all kinds of things on the Moon since there is less gravity there then there is on Earth. Though from watching Apollo 13 somethings worry me but I still think it would be REALLY cool!
