"Kindness counts at the DTES" cheer is a good way to get the message to a kid's mind. It represents that kindness does count at the DTES even if we didn't have this cheer. I pledge to never EVER bully in my life, including other things when i'm older like getting into a fight. I also pledge to encourage the next generation never to bully and as the generations, no months go by kindness will mean more and more in the world. As all of us make a pledge I want to do a special pledge to the earth to always pick up litter and not litter.

In honor of our theme and seeing Mr.Lanes son speaking i pledge to not judge on anyone on there disabilities or how they look. I have to agree that when i did see someone like that i would feel bad for them but now i realize not to judge them from seeing those videos.Kindness at DTES means alot to me because not all schools can say that there theme is kindness counts.Im even more happy because we have all these wonderful activities to do for our kindness weeks and that each class particapates in this.

I do not like bullying it is worry. Never mined. I think the kindness teame is to n ot juged people. Also never call somebody dumb. And friend do not call people names. Just be happy!!!!!!! HA HA HA!!!!!!!!! Also never give up !!!!!! GRiffin
ReplyDeleteI think that the program (kindness counts) theme is to try to convince people not to bully. Mr. Lanes Nephew also has influenced me deeply, like not to call people names just, because your down. You should go hang out with some friends, and try to forget about it, and if someone is feeling down you should go try to cheer them up. Also not to judge people how they look, and to think before you say something mean, or rude. Its on the inside that counts. I also think the school is trying to express themselves by wear a hat, crazy hair day, and stuff like that. We all are different and have different personalities . So we all should try hard.

I think you should be kind to every one and I would love to help others and to spread nice things all around. If you say something nice than you will receive kind things as well.I pledge to say 10 nice things to 10 different people. So 1 kind thing to 1 person. All in this week!
ReplyDeleteA nice friend,

Everyone should be kind. No one likes people who bully. So why would any one want to be a bully? I am glad that Desert Trails Elementary
ReplyDeleteSchool teaches us how to stand up for ourselves and each other. I know of someone who was bullied on the bus, and eventually they had to move to another school because of it. I am very glad that bullying at our school will not be ignored!

The theme "kindness counts at DTES" means that their is kindness at desert trails. Everybody in this school should be kind on DTES property. Also, kindness is the right thing to do to everybody. Fighting is not the way to settle things, walk away from it, tell a adult. Kindness is how you make lots of friends.

I think that Kindness Counts is a wonderful program. I think it was an honor that we got to meet Mr. Lanes son in law. I felt bad when I first saw him and I know other people did too. Then i heard his story...... He said that he had to get used to being in a wheel chair and now he feels he is not that different. I think That that program is a very amazing program. That is what I think of the program.

"Kindness Counts" means we at Desert Trails should be nice to each other. This includes all of the kids and all of the adults. This means that no one will bully anyone else. It also means that we should say "hi" to each other. We should also help one another.

''kindness counts at DTES'' means that Desert Trails is a bully free school. Desert Trails tries to make everyone safe and feel kind. Desert Trails encourages to be nice to EVERYONE,not bully, and help each other. That is what Desert Trails motto means to me.

I think that our school theme, kindness counts at DTES means that we should respect everyone, especially teachers. I think it also means that we should never bully anyone, no matter their differences. I pledge to never ever bully anyone in my life because bulling is wrong. No one should feel bad because you do! Kindness Counts!

What Kindness Counts means to me is that you should always be kind and when you are kind, you will get a reward from it. It's like that saying: if you want to receive kindness, throw it out there. I pledge to never bully anyone. I also pledge to never spread rumors or secrets when it can affect someone's learning, safety, or well-being. The last thing that Kindness Counts means to me is that you should always be kind or helpful to EVERYBODY.

To me "Kindness counts" means that when you are kind to someone it helps them be a kinder person and buy passing on kind deeds we can make the world a better place. Plus being kind to someone can help them get thruogh the day and be in a good mood. I plege to be kind my WHOLE life and keep positive to anyone anywhere! I also plege to make the world a better place by doing kind deeds even when I am not asked to do so!

Since our motto at Desert Trails is "Kindness Counts", we should be kind. Being kind is telling people compliments on any thing like sports playing, even if they aren't very good at sports in your opinion. Like at our kindness meeting earlier this year, if somebody is getting bullied you should interrupt, compliment, and invite away. I don't think it's bullying if somebody's making fun of somebody else and you told the bully to go away. I enjoyed the assembly with Mr. Lane's son and how he played a sport that he enjoyed and he was really good at it.

This theme means to me to be kind and helpful. I pledge to be a good friend. I will also be kind to others. I will also be helpful to others. I will also be more responsibe. I can be a good citizen everywhere I go. I will even share with everyone I come in contact with.

Kindness means so much to me! Bullies are missing out on how much it feels to be kind to other people. I couldn't stand being a bully to others. When i take my anger out on people i dont realize that that im doing it. If we didn't have kindness at Desert Trails everyone would be going home with their feeling hurt.

I think our school theme "Kindness Counts at D.T.E.S" means we should be nice to everyone especially adults. I pledge to be kind, helpful and to also be a good friend! I also think bulling is wrong because all because you feel down inside does not mean you have to take it on someone else. I also think that our school theme means, don't judge someone how they look. I also pledge to never ever bully.

I think our school theme means to be kind to others and spread it around. I pledge to be a great friend to everyone and never bully anyone. I also will help anyone who is having trouble on anything. I will always be kind to everyone who is alone. I also will never judge anyone.

I think the school theme means to be kind to everyone if you want to be treated. I think bullys are bad people because they want etion. I plege to be a good friend and never be a bully. I wont juge people for what they look like because that is not a good friend. A good friend would be kind to everyone. People dont realise what they do when they bully someone. I think it is a horrible thing to bully.

I think that we have kindness at dtes because if we did`nt then we would always being bullied. And we would be buieling others. We also need kindness atdtes because we would always be stubern and greedy. This is really hard to beileive but you would always be swering at your mom and dad and even your TEACHERS.So I just told a couple reasons why but not all of them I hoped you liked my blog goodbye.
