Hogwarts or Narnia
Would you rather live in Narnia or attend school at Hogwarts? Be sure to give reasons to support your choices. If you have not read either book, nor seen either movie, then describe a fictional setting of which you would like to be a part.

I would rather live in Narnia because there are creatures and magic and lots of fun things. Hogwarts is just a school of magic, when Narnia is a place of magic, myth and animals that talk! Narnia would be the best place to visit because, as in the movie, you could become prince just because of your athletic abilities and brains. I'm not saying I'm best at those but I know I'm good at logic and MATH! It would be cool to go to Narnia and someone gives you a potion to become a wizard or fly! Narnia is always best because of the amazing and wonderful things to do, see, and play with! That is probably the most I could say about why I would choose Narnia over attending Hogwarts. :D

I would rather go to school at Hogwarts than live in Narnia. One reason I would like to go to Hogwarts is that I can meet Harry Potter. I would like to meet him because he is the ultimate wizard. Another reason why is because I can learn how to fly. Flying would be cool because it's faster to get there. I also get to go to the Dark Arts class. There I would learn the history of mythology. Learning spells also would be amazing because it will help you. My final reason why I would go to Hogwarts is to play Quidditch because of the competition and the battles. This are the reasons why I would go to Hogwarts then Narnia. Griffin
ReplyDeleteIf I were to choose between the two, I would choose to go to school at Hogwarts. I would rather go to school at Hogwarts because it would be more exhilarating to learn magic where you have all sorts of spells and chants up your sleeves and you could make food appear without having to get up. You could use a spell to teleport yourself to any dream vacation you ever wanted. And, you could get to have battles to see who is the better wizard and had greater knowledge. Plus, I would like to have that many friends that you could practice on each other your spells. Also, you could kick some evil butt, and scare the heck out of him. Also, I would like to play Wizard Chess. It looks fun because it requires strategy and teamwork. I also would like to try making healing spells out of herbs or whatever they do that has to do with herb-producing. I would want to be a wizard that focuses on healing because I don't killing, but also battle spells like the one in Harry Potter blah blah blah Part 2 where the stone knights come alive. I just think that would be beyond my wildest dreams. And, I could have an owl as a pet!
ReplyDeleteI would rather go to school at Hogwarts than live in Narnia. I would rather go to hogwarts because narnia had that evil queen that could freeze you and Hogwarts doesn't have any of that. I also would want to learn spells and be able to have powers that a wizard has. That would be great. I also would want to do the quidditch match because you fly in brooms and try to grab the ball. That would be very fun. I also would like to go to the dark arts class and learn mythology. Those are the reasons why I would rather go to hogwarts.
ReplyDeleteI would rather live in narnia.I would rather live in narnia because its more mythical. It also has magic. It also has animals that can talk to you! They also have a lot of cool potions. They also give awards for you Bieng smart and having the best athletic abilities I'm not that smart buyt I have athletic abilities. It always snows there and is magic.I love Narnia!

ReplyDeleteThe I would rather go to school at Hogwarts than live in Narnina. I would rather be a school at Hogwarts because Narnia has an evil queen is by Gabriel Fatyga
ReplyDeleteWell I like both but I am going to have to go with hogwarts. Hogwarts has all these cool magical beings and all types of wizardry. Plus when I read narnia it wasn't very exciting and ther was only a few characters in Harry potter theres a ton. Also I just love Dobby. I also like going to school and hogwarts is a school. But Its not just any school its a school about wizardry and sorcery. Imagine learning about all that cool stuff. I would also have to choose magic over a big talking lion. Plus when I saw Harry potter I could understand more of it when I saw narnia it didn't really make much sense to me. My favorite thing about going to hogwarts would be to fly those cool brooms around that big stadium. I think that would be pretty cool.

Choosing between them? I would probably prefer Hogwarts over Narnia. Why? I think Hogwarts you can do more and explore the castle. I like the spells, teachers, and the food. I also love Quidditch. It would be fun to fly on a broom as a sport. Also, I would feel safe. Ish. Honestly, they would both be fun but Hogwarts is a little more of a learning experiance. BUt Narnia would be fun. Seeing all the creatures and talking animals would be cool. They both are amazing magical places. But I think I like Hogwarts a little better.

I would rather live in Narnia, because I have read Harry Potter book 1, and it didn't really pique my intrest. Also, Narnia has many places to go, explore, visit, roam, and other activities. Hogwarts does have quidditch, but, I would get bored of flying around on brooms, and besides, if the seeker gets the golden ball that team wins. Narnia would be very fun, because I could live with creatures of all shapes and sizes. And in Narnia, no one will despise your personinality, because everyone there would be different. But at Hogwarts, not all people would be nice to you, thats just the way it is. Another reason not to choose to attend Hogwarts, is that I would have to sit through classes with some nasty teachers. Oh boy, how fun would that be.. Living in Narnia is my opinion, not yours. "And remember, stay classy." -Will Ferral

I would choose hogwarts between the two because of many different reasons. I think that it would be weird in a place like Narnia because you would get either mauled by a weird creature or something. Plus you would be a person there for like 5 years and eventually you would come back and you would have to be a kid again and get used to normal life. But in hogwarts you get to explore things and it wont be as dangerous with some places magically closed off. You also get to do that Quidditch thing and that would be exciting and very risky. Being king would be cool like in Narnia but that wouldn't just happen like in the movie. You also would get to not be attacked by the same guy like 10 times like in the movie Harry Potter. You also get to go on awesome adventures and do dueling battles at Hogwarts. The only thing I don't like is that it is a school but you do learn cool stuff like spells and potions.

If I could go to school at hogwarts, or narrnia... I would choose hogwarts. I'd choose hogwarts, because you have chances to become a great wizard, or witch. You can have many choses like potions, or defense against the dark arts. I would want to compete in the tournaments , and many other fun activitys. I would go on journeys, and battle evil wizards.

If I had to choose between those to I would choose Narnia. I would choose this because you could see a talking lion and you can not see that now. Other talking animals. You could learn how to fight wars. well that would not be fun to die. You could go thow a closet and be there. I think it would be better to go to Narnia.
ReplyDeleteHayden Barrena
I would choose Hogwarts rather than live in Narnia. I chose Hogwarts because I have always wanted to be a wizard since like FOREVER!!! Plus you will still have human qualities and you wont be like awesome. Also there is so many wars and stuff. At Hogwarts there aren't as many. Also in Hogwarts there are way more people that are normal and in your age group. So obviously I would choose Hogwarts.

I have not read either of the books or seen either of the movies. A fictional setting I would like to be a part of would be a world where everything is made of chocolate. I would love that because well everything is made of chocolate. The bad part is that I would be so tempted to eat the whole town. Also, if such a place did exist everyone would probally be really obeese. I really wish that such a place existed but also it would probally melt in the summer time.

I think i am going to have to go with hogwarts. I love magic and i always wanted to be a warlock. learn all different spells andall that cool stuff. At narnia theres all kinds of wars but at hogwarts theres a bit less. Pluss i never read narnia. It would be so cool to be in hogwarts.
ReplyDeleteIf I had the choice to live in Narnia or go to school in Hogwarts I would go to school in Hogwarts. I think that it would be really cool to learn magic and spells. There would be some really fun teatchers and I like all of the mythical creatures they have there. Allthough there are mythical creatures in Narnia, Hogwarts is a school and I love school. I also love science. Hogwarts has many bad things, too. I think that Harry Potter solved that already, so no worries. That is why I'd rather go to school at Hogwarts than live in Narnia. Jessica
ReplyDeleteI have not read either book. I don't really know what I would want in the fictional land either. I would probally want a football stadium that I could play in. I would also want a huge house like the white house. That would be really fun exspecially with a basketball court. Thats what would be in my fictional place.
ReplyDeleteWell, I think I vote for Hogwarts. For one thing, Harry Potter learnerd all of his magic there! Narnia is still beutiful, though. It snows almost everyday, and when it doesn't, It has beutiful lush green grass and wonderful forests! Both places are magical, no doubt. But I just love Hogwarts! You can make TONS of great freinds there, too! Hogwarts RULES!!!
ReplyDeleteWILL
I would definitely choose Hogwarts over Narnia. I would like to go to Hogwarts because, well who wouldn't want to be a wizard? I think I would get put in the Slytherin house. Also, some of the classes would be fun. Their field trips are more fun then ours, that's for sure! I think Dark Arts would be my favorite class. Narnia would be fun too, but I'd rather go to Hogwarts anyday.
ReplyDeleteMatt
I would totally choose to go to Hogwarts bcause then you can use magic! I have always wanted to use magic but I guess it's not real. Narnia sounds or well I should say looks hard to live in because there is some big war and weird talking anmil things. Hogwarts is way better, in my opinion. Plus you could learn a bunch of cool jinxes and awesome spells. You can't do that in Narnia. You can just become like a king or queen and fight with swords and arrows. Once again in my opinion wands are like WAY better. So Hogwarts would definentaly be my choice.

If I had a choice between Going to Hogwarts or living in the world of Narnia. I would choose Hogwarts over Narnia, due to that I am a MEGA fan of Harry Potter. I would choose Hogwarts because if I went to Hogwarts, that would mean that I would be a wizard. Also I would be able to basically feel like I am in the Harry Potter books practically. And you ALL know how much that I love books. To live one would be heaven on cloud 9 to me. I would use magic for productive things like make math homework easy or something like that. I would also be able to do many hard task like brushing my hair and getting away with leaving with my sisters high-tops. So that is all that I got. I'm gonna go read a book.

If I had a choice between going to Hogwarts or Narnia I would choose Hogwarts. Who doesn't want to face the fact that every once in a while you might get face sucked off ( I haven't read these books in a while) by a dementor. Quidditch would be awesome to try. There might be a war every now and then, even some when half of your friends and family might die. But magic is AWESOME to have. That is why I would choose Hogwarts.

ReplyDeleteI would live in narnia because I would be a warior.I think it would be so cool to be a warior.I mean come on a wizard you swing a wand.Big whoop. But a warior swings a sword. Now that would be awsome!Wariors are strong.Wizards are weak.

Peace out!
If I were to pick between Narnia and Harry Potter I would definitely pick Narnia because everything about Harry Potter is against Christianity because it involves witchcraft. And in my opinion Narnia is much more adventurous and colorful, and not as boring as Harry Potter. It is fun, has lots of fun activities and excitement, and I love reading the books and I loved watching the movies. I have always loved Narnia and it is very very entertaining. I love how the author set the whole thing up, and some people say that the books are always better than the movies, and they always are, but in this series, the movies were very enjoyable, just like the books. And I did enjoy Harry Potter too, a little, but definitely not as much as Narnia. :)

I would rafter live in Narnia.I would rather live in Narnia because I don't kno what a hogwart is.i haven't seen the movie in like forever so I forgot.i think Narnia sounds way cooler them a hogwart.im guessing a hogwart is something bad.narnia is a bunch of good people who do the right thing.
ReplyDeleteXamoi
If I had to choose between the two I would pick Narnia. Because it would be nice to be able to live forever. I would also like to be a warrior. I would love to be able to be someone who would be able to be a king or a prince. Maybe someone who is a archer. It would be so cool to be able to be someone who fought in a war. That is why I would choose Narnia.
ReplyDeleteIf I would to choose between Narnia and Hogwarts I would rather choose Hogwarts. I think that you could not survive in Narnia. Narnia is more dangerous than Hogwarts. Hogwarts is a school and schools are more safe than a wilderness setting. I would rather not be a warrior because that is risking your life. I would rather learn majic because back then there were warriors but there was not magic like what they learn at Hogwarts. THat is why I would rather go to Hogwarts than live in Narnia.

I would rather go to school at Hogwarts then go to Narnia. I would want to go to Hogwarts because they have all the magic and there is always things happening there. I would never get bored if i were there and it would be so cool and interesting. I wish that I really could go there cause i would in a heart beat. They always have things happening in the movies and in the books and i just think that there would be a ton of adventures to go on and to remember. I think that Hogwarts would be way more cool and way more fun than Narnia........
ReplyDeleteJULIA
I would rather go to Hogwarts then Narnia because at Hogwarts I could become a wizard. I could fly on a broomstick and learn potions and spells. I would not want to defeat the Queen in Narnia. But I would also want to be in Narnia because i could be a Queen or Princess. For my weapon I would want a bow and arrow. Also have big parties.
