Vote or Drive

Would you rather be able to vote or be able to drive?  If you choose voting, is there a particular election that you wish you could cast a vote?  If you choose driving, is there a particular place you would like to drive yourself or your friends?

Remember to write the correct length and add your name at the end of your blog.  Please watch spelling and capital letters.

  1. I would rather vote then drive. Driving is so much better. Voting you can only do 4 times each year for president (which is the only thing I would want to vote for). Driving you can do anytime (If you have a car). I would drive to the mall a lot of times because I love to shop. I would also drive to restaurants for lunch. I would also drive to movies with my friends. Driving would be awesome.

  2. If I had a choice between driving and voting, it would be voting. First and for most, voting allows you to express your feelings and you get the freedom of choosing your government. Second, cars pollute the air and if there were no cars, we would be able to see the stars at night. Third, we wouldn't have to drive because we could go back to horse carriages and be able to enjoy the view and meet more people. Fourth, voting will allow us to be our own person and vote to who you believe in. Last, but not least, driving kills more people than a bull gores a matador. Yes, I know, opinion is opinion but in MY opinion voting is more important than driving!

  3. If I could choose between driving and voting and I would definitely drive. And really, there is absolutely no point in choosing to vote because first of all, you can only vote once every 4 years, secondly one vote doesn't even matter because of the stupid electoral votes. Every vote doesn't count and one vote does not matter because we have the electoral votes which I highly disagree on because with popular votes, every vote counts, and one person can make a difference, but not with electoral votes. And you benefit your life a lot more with a car because you can go anywhere, any time, for any reason without anybody telling you any different. And if I really want to vote for somebody, then I can just ask my mo to vote for that person because we have the same opinions. And really, the question simplified is would you rather benefit something for 4 ears, of 1 day? Which doesn't really make any sense. But anyway, I think that having a car and being able to drive would be a lot better than voting, and I hate politics anyway!

  4. I would much rather drive than vote. My reason for that is because of my carelessness in polics. I would love to be able to drive a comaro.Just for fun.If we were to speak in terms of like years,I would want to drive a jeep or motersycle. I could also settle for an avalanch like the one my dad has. Also since that's what I'm most likely going to get when I'm able to drive. I would think that for me, i would probably choose to drive over voting.

  5. If I had this choice I would rather be able to drive than vote. I would rather be able to drive. I would because I am not very interested in politics. If I wanted to drive somewhere it would be San Fransisco. I would want to go there cause some of my cousins live there. My Aunt and Uncle live there too. I haven't bin to California in a while. The last time was in November in 2011. It would be nice to go there again. I would definately rather be able to drive than vote.

  6. I think that I would rather be able to drive than vote. I would want to be able to do this because driving seems like a very importaint thing to do to get things done. Instaid of my mom driving to the store, she could send me to drive over to the store to get the groceries. Voting is a very importaint thing too. But driving is really importaint, too. I could drive myself to Gamestop, or some other cool store, too! That is why I would rather be able to drive than be able to vote.

  7. I would rather drive than vote. I would be able to drive myself or my friends to somewhere or from somewhere. I don't really know a lot of about politics. I would rather drive somewhere maybe New York. I doubt my parents are ever going to get a car. I used to drive around in my dads neighborhood, it was fun.

  8. If I had to choose between driving and voting, I would choose driving no questions asked. Driving could be used for a lot more than voting, especially in emergencies because if someone cut their leg open, how could the paramedics get there that quickly and get them back to the hospital before they could die of blood loss? Also, it could be used for entertainment, such as going to drive-in movies, driving to any tourist attractions, or even (it may not be entertainment) work. But, the cons of not being able to vote are, if your country is not smart and votes a president into office that makes ridiculous laws, because eCOngress would approve of it because he has already adjusted those seats to his favor. The pros of voting are much less then driving some of them being being able to choose, doing your duty to your country, and even helping the world in a way. But, the cons of voting are that the person in your favor might not win, you could be in a bad position with what the president has done if your canidate has lost, and you could get into arguments that go on forever about boring politics when you could be having fun driving! Based on the pros and cons on both, and having to pick between them, I would definitely rather drive.

  9. Thats a hard one. But if I could choose I would choose to learn how to drive a car. Since I chose driving there is a lot of places I would like to go. One of them would be to drive to Rocky point because I have been there when I was little and it is such a beautiful place. Another place I would want to go is take a road trip along the east coast. Most of my family lives there and I also would go to New york because thats where I went to Broadway and saw the show Wicked. I would want to go with my cousins and some of my close friends. Someday I can't wait for that to happen.

  10. I would totally rather drive!!! I mean I could wait for voting because most of the time I don't care but there are like a ton of pros that come with driving!! Likr you can just hop in the car and say "Mom! I'm going to my friends house!" and then just drive away cause she odesn't have to drive you so she really has no reason to say no. You could drive anywhere you want at any time you want any day. But the thing with voting is that you can only do it ONE time every FOUR years. Driving you can do every day of your life if you'd like. Plus I think I'm pretty good at drivig already even though I've never really tried, I've read so many car manuals and just sat there watching my parents drive that I know the basics so I think it be kind of easy once I got the hang of it you know. I'd get an awesome car too. But with voting its not like you can get a cool balet.

  11. If I had to choose between driving and voting... I would choose driving, because you won't be able to go to work as fast. Also You wouldn't be very capable to go on vacation. Also you wouldn't be able to take your kids to school. I know its important to vote, but if we couldn't drive it would be very differn't in getting to work, and driving your kids to school. I would rather do both, but If I had to choose I'd definatley choose driving.

  12. If I had to choose between driving and voting I would choose driving. I would go to events with my friends and family. I would also go to the movies and maybe to dinner. I think that it is not very good for the environment. Maybe to avoid pollution, I could get a electric car or one that make less pollution. Voting is a once in four years thing (voting for President) but you can drive every day. That is why I would choose driving over voting.

  13. If I had to choose I would choose driving. Of course, voting is important, but I'd only vote every four years. Driving gives you all kinds of options. You can drive anywhere, any time. Also, my vote wouldn't really matter in the election with 309 million people in America. I think it's a pretty easy decision.

  14. If i could choose to drive or voting i would choose to driving. I choose this because driving looks like it would be fun. You could also take your friends were ever you want and were every they want. driving could so cool but not when you are going to go on a rode trip that would suck because i know it would be hard not to go to sleep. I could go to the mall when ever i want. Driving would be a lot more FUN to do then voting.

  15. They both would be fun but I think driving would br fun. I think this because you wouldn't have to wait for your parents to drive you a friend's house or a store. You could also help. Like running to get milk or whatever for someone who needs it. But on the other hand, I would vote because you can tell your opinion about who should be president. Like the last election. They both are equal in almost every way. Driving you just have some more freedom. But getting money for gas would be a pain but you could probably manage. So to make a long story short, I would prefer driving over voting.

  16. If I had the choice between voting or driving a car, I would choose driving a car if I learned how to drive first. That would be important to me because I don't like walking in the heat. Also, I could drive to Charming Charlies whenever I wanted to go. Voting doesn't make much of a difference even though everyone says it does. We need better choices. Until that happens, I would rather drive.

  17. If I could choose to vote or drive I would choose vote. I would like to be able to vote because driving is nice but I think voteing is more important. One election I wish I cold have been a part of was this past presidential election. I also want to vote because I love to be able to be a part in almost antthing. I think that they should make a law saying that kids can vote and there vote counts as a half of an adults vote. I cant wait until I am 18 and can actully vote!

  18. If I could choose between voting and driving I would choose driving. Mostly because you only vote every four years and driving can do many things. If someone was having a heart attack you need to get them to a hospital you have to DRIVE there. In that situation if someone said, " Nobody panic ----- I can vote" , that does absolutely NOTHING. If someone said , " I shall drive this person to the hospital", they would be a bigger help. Besides you can drive yourself anywhere.

  19. I would want to drive instead of vote cause you can be free when you drive.I would want to drive to the store, the mall, anywhere I want. Also I don't like walking in the hot or cold.Voting is cool but you only get to do it every 4 years and it isn't that fun.But what if you had to go to an emergency or something and you were the only one you couldn't drive.I would want to be able to drive and get to that emergency.

  20. I would rather drive than vote. Driving is much better than voting because you only get to vote a couple times in 4 years. Driving you get to do everyday. I would probaly drive to Las Vegas. If you chose vote how would you get there? That is why I chose driving.

  21. If I had the choice to drive, or to vote, I would choose to be able to drive. I would choose this because I could drive to many fun places, like California. I could also get a really nice car that goes really fast. If I had a fast car, I would go to the auto-bond. Voting is good in all, but does 1 vote really make a difference? Thats what I thought. Driving would also be a convience, because I could drive my friends places, so they wouldn't have to make their mom's drive them. I think the driving on the free way would be fun, because you can always go 65 mph. One thing that I wouldn't want to do, would be to get stuck in terrible traffic. That wouldn't be fun. Also, if something bad happened, I could drive over to the hospital, to see if that person is ok. I think that driving is a better choice, but that is an opinion not a fact.

  24. If I could choose between getting to drive and to vote I would definitely choose driving. I would drive my friends all over the place like to go see movies or go get some dinner. It would also make me feel like I was more free and able to go where ever I wanted to when I wanted to. Voting also only is used once a year but driving can be done whenever you want all day everyday if you wanted. If you choose voting then you can get to cherish that moment for like one day a year. You don't get to be able to go where you want to with voting do you.

  25. If I could drive or vote I would drive. Why you ask? Well here's my reason... I'm tired enough of hearing everyone else saying that your dumb if you don't vote for blah blah blah. What happens if someone figured out who you voted for and they start to bully you. With car people will think your cool. Plus you get to vote later on in life and besides if you let me vote I probably won't vote because I don't want to get in fights with people just because of politics.

  29. If I had a choice to vote or drive, I would drive, because you get to vote anyway sometime in your life. Also, I have always wanted to drive a Dodge Charger that is purple with a white stripe or black with a green stripe. Or, a Hummer just like my Dad. Plus, you only get to vote every 4 years. You could drive every day. I would want to drive to California with friends, and go to the beach, also Disneyland. When I understand politics, I will vote. Until then I will drive in my Dodgr Charger.

  30. That one is easy I would rather drive than vote. I would rather drive because then I could go places without needing to have my mom drive me everywhere. That is very annoying because sometimes you just wish that you could just drive yourself to were ever you want to go to like a party or something like that. You can also get places that your parents don't want to. I would also get a Lamborghini. That is why I would rather drive than vote!

  31. I would rather drive than vote because cars are way more cool and you look like your rich if you have nice cars. Voting it doesnt really matter who wins plus its only one vote if he represents our country its a good prezident for me. Also id have to ask my mom to drive me around if i didnt have a car. I would get 3 cars 1.ferrari 2.corvette 3.mustang and for my mucsle car I would get a hummer h1. And that is why I would want to get a car instead of being able to vote.

Also if i chose driving I could drive all the time and if I choose voting I would only get to vote a couple times a year not very much. If I could get any car I would get a black chevy avalanche. I would drive to all sorts of places and I would go to my friends house all the time. If I could really drive that would be soooooo cool.

  33. I already know how to drive a go cart and go carts are some what the same. The only difference is that go carts go a lot faster. So I would rather vote.If I could actually vote I would vote for.... you know what I don't really know who I would vote for.It really depends on who there is to vote for.So witch one would you rather do?vote,or be able to drive a car and a go cart.So its your choice.Vote,or drive.

  34. If I could pick between being able to vote or drive I would choose to drive. Because you can only vote once every four years. It would be unfair if you can only do it that often. But when you can drive there is no limit to how much you can drive. It would be more fun to drive then it is to vote. I would love to be able to drive. So that is why I would want to drive and not vote.
